🇬🇧 Another step forward in learning by doing. 🚑
Between 24–26 April 2026, the sixth group within the MERIT – ROHU00026 project (Interreg Romania–Hungary VI-A) took part in the Disaster Medicine Simulation Training at the Volunteer Firefighter Training Centre Diosig.
Over three intensive days, participants worked in realistic scenarios, using specialized rescue equipment and strengthening their ability to act quickly, think clearly, and collaborate under pressure.
Building skills that truly make a difference. 👏

🇷🇴 Încă un pas înainte prin învățare practică. 🚑
În perioada 24–26 aprilie 2026, grupa a șasea din cadrul proiectului MERIT – ROHU00026 (Interreg România–Ungaria VI-A) a participat la trainingul de simulare în medicina dezastrelor organizat la Centrul de Pompieri Voluntari Diosig.
Pe parcursul celor trei zile intensive, participanții au lucrat în scenarii realiste, utilizând echipamente speciale de salvare și dezvoltându-și capacitatea de a acționa rapid, de a gândi clar și de a colabora sub presiune.
Construim competențe care contează. 👏

2026. április 24–26. között a MERIT – ROHU00026 projekt (Interreg Románia–Magyarország VI-A) hatodik csoportja katasztrófaorvostani szimulációs képzésen vett részt a Bihardiószegi Önkéntes Tűzoltó Képző Központban.
A három intenzív nap során a résztvevők valósághű helyzetekben dolgoztak, speciális mentési eszközöket használva, miközben fejlesztették gyors reagálási képességüket, tiszta gondolkodásukat és csapatmunkájukat.
Olyan készségeket építünk, amelyek valóban számítanak. 👏

Procesul de învățare continuă la Debrecen, unde partenerul nostru, DEKOM, organizează a doua parte a programului MERIT – ROHU00026.

Participanții își dezvoltă în continuare competențele prin simulări avansate, muncă în echipă și exerciții practice, consolidându-și capacitatea de intervenție în situații complexe de urgență. 🚑

A tanulás Debrecenben folytatódik, ahol projektpartnerünk, a DEKOM, szervezi a MERIT – ROHU00026 program második részét.

A résztvevők tovább fejlesztik készségeiket fejlett szimulációk, csapatmunka és gyakorlati feladatok révén, erősítve felkészültségüket az összetett vészhelyzetek kezelésére. 🚑

The learning continues in Debrecen, where our project partner DEKOM hosts the second part of the MERIT – ROHU00026 programme.

Participants continue to develop their skills through advanced simulations, teamwork, and hands-on exercises, strengthening their ability to respond in complex emergency situations. 🚑

🇬🇧 EN Learning by doing and acting under pressure.
Between 10–12 April 2026, the fifth group within the MERIT – ROHU00026 project (Interreg Romania–Hungary VI-A) joined the Disaster Medicine Simulation Training at the Volunteer Firefighter Training Centre Diosig.
Together with students from the University of Debrecen, participants strengthened their emergency response skills through realistic scenarios, teamwork, and hands-on practice. 🚑

🇷🇴 RO Învățare prin practică și acțiune sub presiune.
În perioada 10–12 aprilie 2026, grupa a cincea din cadrul proiectului MERIT – ROHU00026 (Interreg România–Ungaria VI-A) a participat la trainingul de simulare în medicina dezastrelor organizat la Centrul de Pompieri Voluntari Diosig.
Alături de studenți de la Universitatea din Debrecen, participanții și-au dezvoltat abilitățile de intervenție prin scenarii realiste, muncă în echipă și exerciții practice. 🚑

A Debreceni Egyetem hallgatóival együtt a résztvevők valósághű szimulációk, csapatmunka és gyakorlati feladatok során fejlesztették készségeiket. 🚑

Not every lesson happens in a classroom—some are learned where decisions matter most.
Between 27–29 March 2026, the fourth group within the MERIT – ROHU00026 project, funded by the Interreg Romania–Hungary VI-A Programme, took part in an intensive Disaster Medicine Simulation Training at the Volunteer Firefighter Training Centre Diosig.
Over three dynamic days, participants stepped into realistic emergency scenarios, working with specialized rescue equipment, making fast decisions, and learning to act as a team under pressure. Each exercise pushed them to think, adapt, and respond—just like in real-life critical situations.
Because in the end, it’s not just about knowledge—it’s about being ready when it truly counts. 🚑👏

Nu toate lecțiile se învață în sală—unele se învață acolo unde fiecare decizie contează.
În perioada 27–29 martie 2026, grupa a patra din cadrul proiectului MERIT – ROHU00026, finanțat prin Programul Interreg România–Ungaria VI-A, a participat la un training intensiv de simulare în medicina dezastrelor, organizat la Centrul de Pompieri Voluntari Diosig.
Timp de trei zile dinamice, participanții au fost implicați în scenarii realiste, utilizând echipamente speciale de salvare, luând decizii rapide și lucrând în echipă sub presiune. Fiecare exercițiu i-a provocat să gândească, să se adapteze și să acționeze ca în situații reale.
Pentru că, în final, nu este doar despre cunoștințe—ci despre a fi pregătit atunci când contează cu adevărat. 🚑👏

2026. március 27–29. között a MERIT – ROHU00026 projekt negyedik csoportja, amely az Interreg Románia–Magyarország VI-A Program támogatásával valósul meg, intenzív katasztrófaorvostani szimulációs képzésen vett részt a Bihardiószegi Önkéntes Tűzoltó Képző Központban.
A három dinamikus nap során a résztvevők valósághű helyzetekben dolgoztak, speciális mentési eszközöket használva, gyors döntéseket hozva és csapatban, nyomás alatt teljesítve. Minden gyakorlat arra ösztönözte őket, hogy gondolkodjanak, alkalmazkodjanak és cselekedjenek—akárcsak a valós helyzetekben.
Mert végső soron nem csak a tudás számít—hanem az, hogy készen álljunk, amikor igazán szükség van rá. 🚑👏

🇬🇧 What would you do if every second counted?

Between **6–8 March 2026**, at the **Volunteer Firefighter Training Centre Diosig**, the third group within the **MERIT – ROHU00026 project**, with participants from **Hungary**, stepped into high-pressure scenarios where fast thinking and teamwork made the difference.
Over three intensive days, they faced realistic emergency situations: a victim trapped under a fallen tree, a landslide rescue, a fall from height, and a fuel station explosion involving multiple casualties. Using specialized rescue equipment, they practiced rapid extraction and intervention—learning how to act efficiently when it matters most.
Beyond the simulations, it was about building confidence, trust, and the ability to respond when real lives are at stake. 👏🚑

🇷🇴 Ce ai face dacă fiecare secundă ar conta?

În perioada **6–8 martie 2026**, la **Centrul de Pompieri Voluntari Diosig**, al treilea grup din cadrul proiectului **MERIT – ROHU00026**, format din participanți din **Ungaria**, a intrat în scenarii cu presiune ridicată, unde gândirea rapidă și munca în echipă au făcut diferența.
Pe parcursul a trei zile intensive, aceștia au gestionat situații realiste: victimă prinsă sub un copac prăbușit, intervenție în caz de alunecare de teren, cădere de la înălțime și explozie la o stație de combustibil cu victime multiple. Folosind echipamente speciale de salvare, au exersat extracția rapidă și intervenția eficientă în situații critice.
Dincolo de simulări, a fost despre încredere, colaborare și capacitatea de a acționa atunci când viețile depind de fiecare decizie. 👏🚑

🇭🇺 Mit tennél, ha minden másodperc számítana?

**2026. március 6–8.** között, a **Bihardiószegi Önkéntes Tűzoltó Képző Központban** a **MERIT – ROHU00026 projekt** harmadik csoportja, magyarországi résztvevőkkel, olyan szituációkba lépett, ahol a gyors döntések és a csapatmunka jelentették a különbséget.
A három intenzív nap során valósághű helyzeteket gyakoroltak: fa alá szorult sérült, földcsuszamlás, magasból esés, valamint egy üzemanyagtöltő állomás robbanása több sérülttel. Speciális mentési eszközökkel dolgozva a gyors kimentést és a hatékony beavatkozást gyakorolták.
A szimulációkon túl ez a képzés az önbizalomról, az együttműködésről és arról szólt, hogy képesek legyenek cselekedni, amikor valódi életek múlnak rajta. 👏🚑

The second group within the MERIT – ROHU00026 project successfully completed the Disaster Medicine Situation Simulation Training organized at the Volunteer Firefighter Training Center in Diosig, between 27 February – 1 March 2026.
This time, we had the pleasure of working with students from the University of Oradea – Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Practical sessions included working with professional emergency equipment such as cervical collars, vacuum splints, spine boards, stretchers, tourniquets, oxygen therapy devices and the Corpuls 3 defibrillator.
Through hands-on simulations and teamwork, students strengthened their practical skills and readiness to respond to critical situations. 👏

Al doilea grup din cadrul proiectului MERIT – ROHU00026 a participat cu succes la trainingul de Simulare în Medicina Dezastrelor, organizat la Centrul de Pregătire al Pompierilor Voluntari din Diosig, în perioada 27 februarie – 1 martie 2026.
De această dată, am avut plăcerea de a lucra cu studenți de la Universitatea din Oradea – Facultatea de Medicină și Farmacie.
Exercițiile practice au inclus utilizarea echipamentelor profesionale de intervenție, precum gulere cervicale, atele vacuum, tărgi, garouri, dispozitive pentru oxigenoterapie și defibrilatorul Corpuls 3.
Prin simulări practice și muncă în echipă, studenții și-au consolidat abilitățile și pregătirea pentru situații critice. 👏

A MERIT – ROHU00026 projekt második csoportja sikeresen részt vett a Katasztrófaorvostani Szimulációs Képzésen, amelyet a diószegi Önkéntes Tűzoltó Kiképző Központban szerveztünk 2026. február 27. – március 1. között.
Ez alkalommal az Nagyváradi Egyetem – Orvosi és Gyógyszerészeti Kar hallgatóival dolgozhattunk együtt.
A gyakorlati foglalkozások során professzionális mentési eszközöket is használtak, többek között nyakrögzítő gallérokat, vákuumsíneket, hordágyakat, tourniquetet, oxigénterápiás eszközöket és a Corpuls 3 defibrillátort.
A szimulációk és a csapatmunka révén a hallgatók tovább erősítették gyakorlati készségeiket és felkészültségüket a kritikus helyzetek kezelésére. 👏

The first group within the MERIT – ROHU00026 project successfully participated in the training session organized at the Volunteer Firefighter Training Center in Diosig.
Between 20–22 February 2026, we had the pleasure of working with students from University of Debrecen – Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen, who took part in the intensive Disaster Medicine Situation Simulation Training programme.

Throughout the three days, participants were involved in:
🔹 realistic emergency response scenarios
🔹 practical exercises, including a night drill
🔹 teamwork and rapid decision-making activities
🔹 strengthening competencies in managing critical situations

The atmosphere was dynamic, professional, and highly engaging. The students demonstrated responsibility, adaptability, and strong team spirit.

Prima grupă din cadrul proiectului MERIT – ROHU00026 a participat cu succes la sesiunea de instruire organizată la Centrul de Formare al Pompierilor Voluntari din Diosig.
În perioada 20–22 februarie 2026, am avut bucuria de a lucra cu studenți ai Universitatea din Debrecen – Facultatea de Medicină a Universității din Debrecen, care au luat parte la programul intensiv de simulare a situațiilor de medicină a dezastrelor.

Pe parcursul celor trei zile, participanții au fost implicați în:
🔹 scenarii realiste de intervenție în situații de urgență
🔹 exerciții practice, inclusiv aplicație de noapte
🔹 activități de lucru în echipă și luare rapidă a deciziilor
🔹 consolidarea competențelor în managementul situațiilor critice

Atmosfera a fost una dinamică, profesionistă și plină de implicare, iar studenții au demonstrat seriozitate, adaptabilitate și spirit de echipă.

A MERIT – ROHU00026 projekt első csoportja sikeresen részt vett a diószegi Önkéntes Tűzoltó Kiképző Központban megrendezett képzésen.
2026 február 20–22. között a Debreceni Egyetem – Debreceni Egyetem Általános Orvostudományi Kar hallgatóival dolgozhattunk együtt, akik részt vettek a katasztrófaorvostani szituációs szimulációs képzésen.

A három nap során a résztvevők:
🔹 valósághű sürgősségi beavatkozási forgatókönyvekben vettek részt
🔹 gyakorlati feladatokat, köztük éjszakai gyakorlatot teljesítettek
🔹 csapatmunkában és gyors döntéshozatali helyzetekben dolgoztak
🔹 fejlesztették kompetenciáikat kritikus helyzetek kezelésében

A hangulat dinamikus, szakmailag magas színvonalú és motiváló volt. A hallgatók felelősségteljes hozzáállásról, alkalmazkodóképességről és erős csapatszellemről tettek tanúbizonyságot.
