Шановні друзі,

З 18 по 24 вересня в кінотеатрах Happy Cinema Vitantis та Happy Cinema Colosseum у Бухаресті відбудеться Ukrainian Film Festival — фестиваль, присвячений українському кінематографу та культурі.

У програмі фестивалю представлені художні, документальні та анімаційні фільми, які знайомлять глядачів з історією, культурою, міфологією та сучасними реаліями України. Серед стрічок фестивалю — історичний мюзикл «MUR. Ty [Romantyka]», документальний фільм про Андрія Кузьменка «Kuzma», анімаційна картина «Mavka: The True Myth», а також фільми «Red Rue Express» і «Antarctica».

Фестиваль адресований як українській громаді Румунії, так і всім охочим більше дізнатися про Україну через мистецтво кіно. Усі покази відбуватимуться з англійськими субтитрами.

Every day, Russia targets civilians and civilian infrastructure. This morning, a Russian FPV drone hit a passenger minibus in Nikopol district, Dnipro region, killing at least five people and injuring seven.
Russia also attacked the Kyiv–Mykolaiv passenger train today. Passengers and crew were evacuated in time.
Moscow continues to deliberately strikes buses, trains, locomotives, stations and railway infrastructure – disrupting evacuation routes, civilian movement and the economy.
Every Russian escalation must be met with increased pressure on Moscow. Ukraine needs more air defence and interceptors to protect lives. Russia’s revenues, military production, technology and supply chains must be systematically restricted.

🇺🇦🇲🇩🇷🇴 Four years ago, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania launched the Odesa Triangle – a trilateral format for cooperation.
In 2022, its primary focus was energy security. Today, its agenda is much broader, covering cooperation on the Black Sea and the Danube, defence, energy, transport corridors, border infrastructure, cybersecurity, and countering hybrid threats.
The area between the Black Sea, the Danube River and the Carpathians is a key hub for transport, trade and energy routes. The strategic location of the three countries makes this format important also for Europe as a whole.
💬 “Moscow seeks to destabilise the Black Sea region, attacks our border infrastructure, ports and maritime routes, weaponises energy and food, and uses cyberattacks, disinformation and political interference against our societies. Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania have a shared interest in denying Russia the ability to destabilise our countries. A secure Black Sea and Danube region is essential for the security of Europe,” said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
“Ukraine and Moldova are moving towards EU membership, with Romania as our close ally and advocate. Our growing connectivity and joint projects should reinforce this process and anchor the entire region firmly within a united Europe,” he stressed.
Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania will continue to strengthen the practical impact of this format and use it to deliver projects that will shape the future of the region for years to come.

Today is Ukrainian Tank Troops Day!

As new technologies and ways of conducting warfare continue to reshape the battlefield, tank troops remain a vital part of Ukraine’s defence. They destroy enemy fortifications and equipment, support Ukrainian units, and defend our positions.

The strength of our tank troops lies in the professionalism, courage, dedication and unique experience of Ukrainian servicemen and servicewomen.

We thank everyone who defends Ukraine in the ranks of the tank troops. Eternal memory to those who gave their lives for Ukraine.

У Бухаресті відбувся показ українського документального фільму «Can You Hear Me?»

10 вересня 2026 року у кінотеатрі Elvire Popesco (м.Бухарест) відбувся показ українського документального фільму «Can You Hear Me? The Invisible Battles of Ukrainian Military Medics», присвяченого психологічним наслідкам триваючої повномасштабної війни росії проти України для українських військових медиків.

Показ документальної стрічки, відбувся за ініціативи Посольства України та підтримки Посольства Швеції, Посольства Франції, Французького інституту та One World Romania.
Посол України в Румунії Ігор Прокопчук акцентував на важливості спільних зусиль задля припинення військової агресії держави-терориста росії та встановлення всеохоплюючого, справедливого та тривалого миру. Закликав румунських та міжнародних партнерів посилювати допомогу України, підкресливши підготовку до складної зими та потреби України в засобах ППО.

Посол Франції Н.Варнері та Посол Швеції А.Геллерман виступили з промовами, в яких засудили триваючу брутальну агресію рф. Було наголошено на стійкості українського народу, триваючих щоденних російських обстрілах мирних українських міст, численних жертвах серед цивільного населення та необхідності посилення міжнародної допомоги Україні. Окремо було акцентовано на важкому впливі війни на українських військових, зокрема тих, хто щодня перебуває на передовій.
Після показу відбулися дебати за участю авторів фільму — Олени Зашко та Френсіса Фаррела. Учасники обговорили створення документальної стрічки та психологічні наслідки війни для українських військових медиків. Дискусія викликала великий інтерес серед глядачів, які мали змогу почути про реалії триваючої війни з перших вуст.

У рамках заходу також було представлено виставку «Look at Ukraine» — 13 фотографій українського фотографа Олександра Глядєлова, які відображають ключові події історії сучасної України від проголошення незалежності до сьогодення.
У заході взяли участь представники дипломатичного корпусу, експертного середовища, румунського громадянського суспільства та засобів масової інформації.

Дякуємо Kyiv Independent за сприяння в організації заходу, а також авторській команді фільму за важливу роботу з висвітлення досвіду українських військових медиків.

Russia’s barbaric strikes at the Ukraine-Poland border in Yahodyn are not just a continuation of its attacks on Ukraine’s state borders, but also Putin’s terror “knocking” directly on the doors of the EU and NATO, stressed Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, commenting on the attack.

Act now: throw the full weight of your sanctions at Putin’s aggressive regime.

Make Moscow feel the consequences of its terror. Not just half-decisions, but uncompromising, powerful steps. Full trade embargo. Full entry bans. Full sanctions on the military-industrial complex.

Putin needs to understand that his barbarism will be met with decisive action that increases the cost of war for him to an unacceptable level. This is the only way to stop him,” Andrii Sybiha noted.

Russia continues its deliberate terror against civilians, attacking residential buildings and infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine.

In Odesa, a Russian strike caused a massive fire in a 25-storey residential building, injuring at least 35 people. In Chornomorsk, Russia destroyed a residential house and damaged three others, while also hitting a gas pipe and a hotel with a rehabilitation centre – injuring 5 people, including four children.

In the Dnipro region, Russia killed one person and injured three in Kryvyi Rih, while also damaging an infrastructure facility and civilian buildings in other communities.

In Zaporizhzhia, Russian forces destroyed a residential building, killing two people and injuring four.

Additionally, Russia struck an enterprise in the Zhytomyr region.

Russia's systematic terror against civilians underscores Ukraine's urgent need for the immediate strengthening of its air defence systems, as well as increased pressure on Moscow to force it to end this war.
