UK Army deploys Project Halo Shield 🇬🇧🛡️

The British Army has deployed its first passive counter-drone detection system at Warminster Garrison, combining radio-frequency and optical sensing to detect, track and identify drones - not intercept them.

Funded by UK Defence Innovation, Project Halo Shield brings together detection technologies supplied by Dedrone and Quell.

Early results from the deployment include:
📡 29 drone alerts recorded during the first 17 days of live monitoring
🎯 Detections reached up to 5 km
👁️ RF + optical sensors provide a layered airspace picture
