وزارة المواصلات تشارك في الاجتماع التاسع والعشرين الاستثنائي لوزراء النقل والمواصلات بدول مجلس التعاون..
شاركت وزارة المواصلات في الاجتماع التاسع والعشرين (الاستثنائي) للجنة وزراء النقل والمواصلات بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، الذي عقد عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
ناقش أصحاب المعالي والسعادة الوزراء خلال الاجتماع تنفيذ توجيهات قادة دول المجلس في لقائهم التشاوري التاسع عشر في جدة والمتعلقة بالمشاريع الخليجية المشتركة في هذا المجال.
كما استعرض الاجتماع عددا من الموضوعات التي تعزز التعاون والتكامل بين دول المجلس في مجالات النقل والمواصلات، وفي مقدمتها مستجدات تنفيذ مشروع سكة حديد دول مجلس التعاون، والخطوات والإجراءات التنفيذية المتخذة لتعزيز التكامل اللوجيستي وما تحقق من تقدم في هذا الشأن، وتوفير خيارات إضافية لنقل السلع والمنتجات بين دول المجلس.
وتناول الاجتماع التحديات والفرص المرتبطة بالمشاريع التكاملية لقطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، وبحث سبل تبسيط الإجراءات الجمركية والحدودية، وتفعيل المسارات البديلة للنقل، وتعزيز الربط اللوجستي بين الموانئ والمراكز الحدودية والمناطق الاقتصادية، إلى جانب دعم استخدام التقنيات الحديثة والأنظمة الرقمية الموحدة لتسريع إجراءات التخليص والتفتيش والتتبع، بالإضافة إلى عدد من الموضوعات المتعلقة بالنقل البحري والموانئ، بما يسهم في دعم التكامل الخليجي وتعزيز كفاءة منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في دول المجلس.

MOT Attends 29th GCC Transport Ministers’ Extraordinary Committee Meeting..
The Ministry of Transport took part in the 29th extraordinary meeting of the Committee of Transport Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, held via videoconference.
The ministers in attendance discussed the implementation of the directives of the GCC country leaders during the 19th consultative meeting in Jeddah with relation to joint GCC projects.
The meeting also reviewed a number of topics that enhance cooperation among the GCC countries in transportation, including updates on the implementation of the GCC Railway Project, the steps and executive measures taken with respect to enhancing the logistical integration and the progress made in this regard, and providing additional options for the GCC countries to transport their goods and products.
The meeting also reviewed the challenges and opportunities that GCC countries encounter with regard to the integrated projects of the transportation and logistics industry. It also discussed ways to make customs and border procedures simpler, activate alternative transportation routes, and enhance logistical connectivity between ports, border hubs and economic zones, in addition to supporting the using of modern technologies and uniform digital systems to speed up clearance, inspection and tracking procedures, as well as several other topics on maritime transportation and ports to enhance GCC integration and logistic services and transportation system efficiency.

شارك وفد من وزارة المواصلات برئاسة المهندس عبدالله سيف السليطي، وكيل الوزارة المساعد لشؤون النقل البري، في مؤتمر ومعرض الجمعية الأمريكية لأنظمة النقل الذكية (ITS America Conference & Expo 2026)، والذي عُقِد من 9 إلى 12 يونيو 2026م في مدينة ديترويت بولاية ميشيغان في الولايات المتحدة وحمل هذا العام شعار "تمكين الابتكار".
وتأتي مشاركة وفد الوزارة في إطار الحرص على تأكيد مكانة دولة قطر في منظومة النقل الذكي العالمية، ومواكبة أحدث التطورات التقنية بما يتماشى مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، إلى جانب متابعة أحدث ما توصّلت إليه الشركات والمؤسسات الدولية المشاركة من تقنيات وأنظمة ذكية متقدّمة في قطاع النقل، فضلاً عن تعزيز أوجه التعاون والشراكة مع الجهات الأمريكية والدولية المتخصصة.
وعقد الوفد، على هامش المشاركة، اجتماعاً مع كلٍ من الرئيسة والمديرة التنفيذية للجمعية الأمريكية لأنظمة النقل الذكية، والمدير التنفيذي للجمعية الأمريكية لمسؤولي الطرق السريعة والنقل، حيث جرى بحث سبل التعاون المشترك وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات النقل الذكي والبنية التحتية للنقل.
ويُعدّ هذا المؤتمر من أبرز الفعاليات الدولية المتخصصة في أنظمة النقل الذكية، وقد شهد هذا العام مشاركة واسعة من كبرى الشركات والمؤسسات المتخصصة، وإقامة سلسلة من الجلسات النقاشية والمعارض التي استعرضت أحدث الحلول والتقنيات في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي، والمركبات المتصلة والذاتية القيادة، وإدارة الحركة المرورية الذكية، والبنية التحتية الرقمية.

An MOT delegation, led by Land Transport Affairs Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Sulaiti, has taken part in the ITS America Conference & Expo 2026, which concluded on June 12, in Detroit, Michigan, under the theme 'Empowering Innovation'.
The MOT participation highlighted Qatar’s profile in the global smart transit ecosystem and aimed at keeping pace with the latest technological advancements in the industry in step with the goals of the QNV 2030. It was also an opportunity for the MOT to learn firsthand about latest developments and innovations from exhibitors in terms of smart systems and technologies in transportation. Enhancing cooperation and partnerships with specialized U.S. organizations was also among the top objectives of the participation.
On the sidelines of the event, the MOT delegation met with the President and CEO of ITS America, and the Executive Director of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). They discussed enhancing cooperation and exchange of expertise in smart transportation and infrastructures.
ITS America is the US premier advocate for the technological modernization of the transportation system, promoting scaled deployment of smart, connected, and automated infrastructure.
The ITS America Conference & Expo is one of the world's largest and most premier events focused on intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and smart mobility. Each edition brings together global mobility innovators, city planners, and tech leaders to showcase the real-world deployment of automated vehicles, AI traffic management, and connected infrastructures.

دولة قطر تشارك في اجتماعات لجنة التعاون الفني التابعة للمنظمة البحرية الدولية

شاركت دولة قطر، ممثلة في وفدها الدائم لدى المنظمة البحرية الدولية، في اجتماعات لجنة التعاون الفني (TC 76)، التي عقدت في مقر المنظمة البحرية الدولية بالعاصمة البريطانية لندن خلال الفترة من 8 إلى 12 يونيو 2026.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص دولة قطر على دعم جهود المنظمة البحرية الدولية الرامية إلى تعزيز التعاون الفني وبناء القدرات المؤسسية والبشرية للدول الأعضاء، بما يسهم في تطوير القطاع البحري وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وناقشت اللجنة خلال اجتماعاتها عدداً من الموضوعات المتعلقة بتنفيذ برنامج التعاون الفني للمنظمة، وآليات دعم الدول الأعضاء في تطوير قدراتها البحرية، وتعزيز التدريب وبناء الكفاءات، إلى جانب متابعة تنفيذ المشاريع والمبادرات الفنية الهادفة إلى رفع مستويات السلامة والأمن البحري وحماية البيئة البحرية.
وخلال الاجتماعات، أكد وفد دولة قطر على أهمية ضمان سلامة وأمن الملاحة البحرية، وحماية البحارة، وضمان الحركة الآمنة للسفن التجارية في مضيق هرمز والمناطق المحيطة به، مع التشديد على أهمية الحفاظ على حرية الملاحة وحق المرور العابر وفقا للقانون الدولي، إلى جانب دعم الجهود الدولية الرامية إلى تقديم المساعدة للسفن والبحارة المتأثرين في عرض البحر.

Qatar Attends IMO TC 76th Session..
The Qatar Mission to the IMO underlined the importance of safe and free maritime navigation, seafarers’ protection and wellbeing, free and safe passage of merchant ships through the Hormuz Strait as per international laws. They also stressed Qatar’s unwavering support for the efforts aimed at providing the necessary assistance to ships and seafarers impacted offshore.
This came during the 76th Session of the International Maritime Organization's Technical Cooperation Committee (TC 76), held at the IMO HQ in London on June 8-12.
Topics discussed included progressing the draft implementation plan of IMO’s technical cooperation program, enhancing IMO's regional outreach and strengthening its global network of technical assistance, and supporting Member States on their maritime capacity-building efforts.
The Qatar Mission actively participates in IMO’s technical meetings as part of Qatar’s commitment to enhancing global technical cooperation and capacity-building for a stronger global maritime industry in line with UN SDGs.
