A fantastic evening of football, networking and community spirit at our BCCQ Three Lions Social as England kicked off their World Cup 2026 campaign with an entertaining 4โ€“2 victory over Croatia.

It was wonderful to welcome both familiar faces and new guests, including BCCQ members and non-members, who joined us to enjoy the match together.

A special thank you to the team at Public House, Marsa Malaz Kempinski, for their excellent hospitality and service throughout the evening. The dedicated World Cup viewing area, great atmosphere and attentive team helped make the event a real success and an enjoyable experience for all who attended.

Whilst an 11:00pm kick-off made for a late night; it was certainly worth staying up for England's opening World Cup win!

Beyond the football, the evening was a great reminder of the value of bringing people together, creating new connections and strengthening relationships across our business community in a relaxed and informal setting.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to welcoming you to future BCCQ events.

A late night, great company and three points on the board. Worth every minute. On to the next one, Three Lions!
