نقدّم لكم العمل الفني الفريد «سيارة مكشوفة وردية كبيرة» للفنان العالمي إروين وورم، المعروض حاليًا في بلاس ڤاندوم.

‎ينتمي هذا العمل إلى سلسلة «السيارات المنتفخة» الشهيرة، التي يحوّل فيها الفنان عناصر من حياتنا اليومية إلى منحوتات ضخمة ذات أبعاد مبالغ فيها. ومن خلال استخدام الألمنيوم المصبوب والطلاء اللامع، يعكس العمل هوس المجتمع بالاستهلاك المفرط، ويدعو إلى التأمل في علاقتنا بالمادية ورموز الثراء والمكانة.

‎ويأتي عرض العمل ضمن رسالة متحف قطر للسيارات المستقبلي لاستكشاف الأهمية الثقافية للسيارة ودورها المتغيّر في المجتمع، وفتح حوار حول قيمنا وعاداتنا الاستهلاكية.

Introducing Pink Convertible Big by internationally acclaimed artist Erwin Wurm, now on view at Place Vendôme.

Part of Wurm’s renowned Fat Car series, the sculpture transforms an everyday automobile into an exaggerated, oversized form. Crafted from cast aluminium and finished with vibrant lacquer, the work reflects on a culture shaped by overconsumption, inviting viewers to question our fascination with materialism, wealth and status symbols.

Presented as part of the vision for the future Qatar Auto Museum, the installation explores the cultural significance of the automobile and its evolving role in society, encouraging visitors to reflect on the values and consumption habits that shape our everyday lives.
