Treviso (Italy) hosted the fifth meeting of the "Boats4schools - An Educational Challenge", framed within the ERASMUS+ program under the coordination of CATIM.

The meeting, held on October 23, served to address some of the most important aspects of the project that will end in march 2020.

The work in progress aims to create an educational metodology in order to create awareness among the young people to the STEAM areas (Science, Tecnhonology, Engineering, Art and mathematics). More info in www.boats4schools.eu.

On July 10th, took place in Portugal, the 2nd Boats4schools contest.
In the event have participated 6 teams of young students, who built their own boat and pilot it in simulated conditions created in Museu do Automóvel in Famalicão.
The jury was composed by four persons CITEVE, EDIT VALUE® Apoio à Gestão, CATIM as well as the spanish partner Centro Público Integrado O Cruce.
It was very exciting to see the kids with their boats and all the work behind it. Some of them showed great skills and hard work, not only in the development of the boat, but also in the designing and documentation process. Check some of the photos of this event below!

Realiza-se, no próximo dia 10 de julho, no Museu do Automóvel em Vila Nova de Famalicão.
O evento é dirigido a jovens entre 12 e 18 anos de idade que pretendam desenvolver competências e conhecimentos ligados às áreas STEM (Ciências, Matemática, Engenharia e Tecnologia) através da construção de um barco.
