🥊 The exciting Muay Thai demonstration by Dinamite Team showcased the skill, discipline, and spirit of Thailand’s national sport.

✈️ The Travel Talk by the Tourism Authority of Thailand inspired visitors to discover Thailand’s unique destinations, culture, and hospitality.

👘✨ One of the highlights of the day was the Traditional Thai Fashion Show, featuring Camila Vitorino, Miss Universe Portugal 2025, who elegantly presented the beautiful Chud Thai Phra Ratcha Niyom (Royal Thai National Costume).

✨🇹🇭 What an Amazing First Day at Thai Festival Lisbon 2026! 🇹🇭🇵🇹✨

The first day of Thai Festival Lisbon 2026 has come to a close, and what a wonderful day it has been! 🌸💚

Today, visitors from Portugal and around the world joined us at Jardim Vasco da Gama in Belém to celebrate the rich culture, traditions, flavours, and creativity of Thailand. From authentic Thai cuisine and cultural performances to traditional crafts, wellness experiences, and innovative exhibitions, the festival grounds were filled with smiles, curiosity, and friendship throughout the day. 🎭🍜☕👘✨

The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Portugal and Mr. João Carvalhosa, President of the Parish Council of Belém, together with distinguished guests, partners, and friends who joined us in celebrating the enduring friendship between Thailand and Portugal. The Ceremony was attended by the esteemed Ambassadors as well as Miss Prakaipruek Damrongvadha, Director of Tourism Authourity of Thailand, Rome Office and Ms. Patcharamon Trakulthivakorn, Director of the Office of Commercial Affairs in Madrid. 🇹🇭🤝🇵🇹

This year's theme, "Creative Life 💚 Creative Heartbeat", highlights the way Thailand's rich cultural heritage continues to inspire creativity, innovation, and sustainable development. Throughout the festival, visitors have been discovering how tradition and modernity come together to shape the vibrant spirit of contemporary Thailand. 🌿✨

Hoje, visitantes de Portugal e de várias partes do mundo juntaram-se a nós no Jardim Vasco da Gama, em Belém, para celebrar a riqueza da cultura, das tradições, dos sabores e da criatividade da Tailândia. Desde a autêntica gastronomia tailandesa e espetáculos culturais até ao artesanato tradicional, experiências de bem-estar e exposições inovadoras, o recinto do festival esteve repleto de sorrisos, curiosidade e espírito de amizade ao longo de todo o dia. 🎭🍜☕👘✨

A cerimónia de abertura foi presidida por Sua Excelência a Senhora Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Embaixadora do Reino da Tailândia em Portugal, e pelo Senhor João Carvalhosa, Presidente da Junta de Freguesia de Belém, contando ainda com a presença de ilustres convidados, parceiros e amigos que se juntaram a nós para celebrar a duradoura amizade entre a Tailândia e Portugal. A cerimónia contou igualmente com a presença de Embaixadores acreditados em Portugal, bem como da Senhora Prakaipruek Damrongvadha, Diretora do Turismo da Tailândia para Itália, Portugal, Espanha e Grécia, e da Senhora Patcharamon Trakulthivakorn, Diretora do Escritório de Assuntos Comerciais da Tailândia em Madrid. 🇹🇭🤝🇵🇹

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอนจัดพิธีถวายสักการะและลงนามถวายอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา เมื่อวันที่ 16 มิถุนายน 2569 โดยนางกนกวรรณ เพ่งสุวรรณ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน ได้นำข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ถวายสักการะและลงนามถวายอาลัย
