It's announced with great pleasure that CLAIM (a government agency for the facilitation of immigrants) has invited Pakistani community through the Pakistani Association of Portugal (APAQ) to attend an important online awareness session details of which are as below:
As part of the Re-skill – Integration of Young People from the Indo-Asian Community project, promoted by YMCA Setúbal in partnership with Territórios Criativos and IDSET, as part of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s “Empregar” initiative, we are pleased to share the first Financial Literacy session aimed at young NEET individuals (aged 15–34) from the Indo-Asian community living in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

• Participation: Free of charge
This session will provide participants with practical guidance and the opportunity to clarify key topics relevant to professional and financial life in Portugal, including:
• Employment contracts
• Payslips and salary breakdowns
• Taxes and fiscal obligations
• How to start a business in Portugal
• Core financial management concepts
The initiative is designed to strengthen financial autonomy, increase knowledge, and better equip participants for both the labour market and entrepreneurial pathways.
