حضور اجتماع وزير الخارجية البرتغالية
شارك سعادة السفير الدكتور عادل مصطفى كامل في الاجتماع الذي عقدهُ معالي وزير الخارجية البرتغالي باولو رانجيل، في مقر وزارة الخارجية في العاصمة لشبونة بتاريخ 2026/03/05، والذي ضم سفراء عدد من الدول العربية وهم: (العراق، مصر، الكويت، الامارات، السعودية وقطر)، فضلاً عن مشاركة السفير التركي في الاجتماع ايضاً.
نوقش في الاجتماع الاوضاع الراهنة في منطقة الشرق الاوسط والحرب على ايران، اذ اوضح معالي السيد رانجيل موقف البرتغال من الاوضاع الجارية في الوقت الحالي، فضلاً عن الاجراءات التي اتخذتها البرتغال في هذا الصدد، اهمها قيامهِ باجراء اتصالات هاتفية عاجلة بنظرائهِ وزراء خارجية (العراق، الكويت، قطر، الامارات، السعودية، الاردن، سلطنة عُمان وتركيا).
واشار السيد رانجيل خلال الاجتماع الى مجريات لقاءهِ بنظيرهِ معالي الدكتور فؤاد حسين، على هامش مشاركتهما في مؤتمر ميونخ للامن، والذي عُقد في شهر شباط الماضي.
وفي ختام الاجتماع اكد السيد رانجيل على ان البرتغال تقف الى جانب الدول المتضررة جراء الهجمات الحاصلة على اراضيها، مُبيناً بان حكومة بلاده تدعو الى التهدئة وتؤكد على ضرورة العودة الى جولة المفاوضات بين الجانبين الايراني والامريكي، وايقاف الحرب الدائرة باسرع وقت ممكن.

Attendance at the Meeting with the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs
His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Adel Mustafa Kamel participated in the meeting held by His Excellency the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Lisbon, on 5 March 2026. The meeting included the ambassadors of several Arab countries—namely Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar—as well as the participation of the Turkish ambassador.
During the meeting, the current developments in the Middle East and the war against Iran were discussed. Minister Rangel explained Portugal’s position regarding the ongoing situation, as well as the measures taken by Portugal in this regard. Most notably, he conducted urgent telephone calls with his counterparts, the foreign ministers of Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, and Turkey.
Mr. Rangel also referred to the details of his meeting with his counterpart, His Excellency Dr. Fuad Hussein, on the sidelines of their participation in the Munich Security Conference held last February.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Rangel affirmed that Portugal stands by the countries affected by the attacks on their territories. He further stated that the Portuguese government calls for de-escalation and stresses the necessity of returning to negotiations between the Iranian and American sides, and bringing the ongoing war to an end as soon as possible.
