The Popular Struggle Coordination Committee was formed by prominent activists in the popular committees from all over the Occupied Territories and across the Palestinian political spectrum. Popular committees present a unique form of community based organizing and resistance in the tradition of the first Palestinian Intifada. These diverse, non-partisan committees lead community resistance to Israeli occupation in various forms, such as marches, strikes, demonstrations, direct actions and legal campaigns, as well as supporting boycott, divestment and sanctions.

We're deeply grateful to Francesca for amplifying Palestinian farmers and the land they refuse to leave. The invitation comes not from us or her — it comes directly from the communities in the West Bank, and they are asking the world to stand in solidarity with them.

Every autumn, Palestinians return to their groves for the olive harvest. And every autumn, they face a coordinated effort to drive them off their land. This year, settler-soldier violence has spiked to unprecedented levels — and with Israeli elections approaching, we anticipate it will escalate further. During the harvest, farmers and shepherds are most exposed. That is exactly when your presence matters most.

Palestinians have never had the option of looking away — they farm through it, and stay. If watching from a distance leaves you helpless, know that powerlessness is a feeling, not a fact. I resist. I study sumud. I show up. From paralysis to action. From privilege to responsibility.

Faz3a (فزعة) means rushing to a neighbour's aid in a moment of danger — a deeply rooted Palestinian tradition. It's a Palestinian-led campaign by the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee (PSCC), coordinating international presence across the occupied West Bank, always at the invitation of local communities, to support Palestinian sumud (steadfastness).

For Palestinians, land is mother and honour — a bond that generations of colonization have tried, and failed, to break. Faz3a exists to keep that relationship alive.

Israeli Occupation Issues 6-Month Administrative Detention Order Against FAZ3A Coordinator in the Jordan Valley, Ayman Ghraieb

For Immediate Release – 2 December 2025

The FAZ3A Campaign strongly condemns the Israeli occupation’s decision today to issue a six-month administrative detention order against Palestinian activist Ayman Ghraieb, the campaign’s field coordinator in the Jordan Valley, who was abducted on 17 November 2025 from the village of al-Fasayil at the request of illegal settlers present at the scene.

From the moment of his abduction, Ayman was held for hours before being transferred to an unknown location. Until today, despite repeated requests by his lawyers and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Israeli authorities have refused to disclose his whereabouts or allow access to him. Human rights sources indicate that Ayman is being held by the Shin Bet, in blatant violation of international law and due process.

Ayman Ghraieb is a dedicated human rights defender and a central figure in the FAZ3A Campaign, working tirelessly to support Palestinian farmers and communities under threat, while documenting escalating settler and military violence across the Jordan Valley. The administrative detention order against him is part of a systematic policy aimed at silencing activists, obstructing documentation efforts, and suppressing grassroots resilience and resistance.

According to B’Tselem, as of June 2025, 3,563 Palestinians are held under administrative detention — imprisonment without charge or trial, subject to indefinite renewals. This detention regime is used as a political tool to target activists and strip them of basic legal protections.

We Demand:
1. The immediate and unconditional release of Ayman Ghraieb.
2. Urgent international intervention by UN bodies, the European Union, and global human rights organizations.
3. Full responsibility placed on Israel for Ayman’s physical and psychological safety, particularly given his enforced disappearance.
4. An international investigation into his abduction, the involvement of settlers, and the conditions of his detention.

Targeting human rights defenders and community organizers will not stop us from standing with Palestinian farmers, protecting vulnerable communities, and documenting ongoing violations across the Jordan Valley and the West Bank.

The Campaign honored UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese during a briefing at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Lama Nazeih, member of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee, presented the recognition shield in the presence of European diplomats and Members of the European Parliament from various political groups.

Lama highlighted the role of the Fazaa Campaign this year in supporting Palestinian farmers and protecting their lands amid escalating settler violence.

Francesca Albanese praised the campaign’s efforts, emphasizing its vital role in strengthening community resilience and documenting ongoing violations.

كرّمت حملة “فزعة” التي تنظمها اللجنة التنسيقية للمقاومة الشعبية، المقررة الخاصة للأمم المتحدة المعنية بحالة حقوق الإنسان في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة فرانشيسكا ألبانيز، وذلك خلال ندوة عُقدت في البرلمان الأوروبي في بروكسل لمناقشة التطورات الراهنة في فلسطين.

وقدّمت لمى نزيه، عضو اللجنة التنسيقية للمقاومة الشعبية، درع التكريم لألبانيز أمام حضور ضمّ عددًا من السفراء والدبلوماسيين الأوروبيين، وأعضاء من البرلمان الأوروبي من مختلف المجموعات السياسية، إلى جانب ممثلين عن مؤسسات حقوقية.

وأعربت لمى خلال كلمتها عن تقدير حملة فزعة لجهود ألبانيز في الدفاع عن حقوق الفلسطينيين وتوثيق الانتهاكات. كما قدّمت شرحًا حول دور حملة “فزعة” هذا العام في ظل تصاعد اعتداءات المستوطنين، مشيرة إلى أن الحملة تعمل على دعم المزارعين، حماية الأراضي، وتوثيق الاعتداءات بالتعاون مع لجان المقاومة الشعبية والمتطوعين.

من جهتها، أشادت فرانشيسكا ألبانيز بدور حملة “فزعة” وجهودها الميدانية في مساندة المزارعين الفلسطينيين وحماية أراضيهم في مواجهة اعتداءات المستوطنين، مؤكدة أن المبادرات المجتمعية الفلسطينية تُعدّ ركيزة أساسية في تعزيز الصمود الشعبي.

وطالبت لمى في ختام كلمتها الاتحادَ الأوروبي بـاتخاذ خطوات جدّية وفعّالة لوقف اعتداءات المستوطنين وحماية المدنيين الفلسطينيين ومحاسبة الجهات المسؤولة عن الانتهاكات.

واختُتمت الندوة بالتشديد على أهمية استمرار الجهود المشتركة بين المؤسسات الدولية والمجتمع المدني الفلسطيني لتعزيز المساءلة الدولية ودعم صمود الشعب الفلسطيني.

The people of Beit Lid are constantly facing attacks from illegal settlers who are attempting to build a new outpost with the help of the occupation army, in the area of Al-Duweir, between Beit Lid and Kafr Qaddum. During the olive harvest, in the last weeks, the settlers burned the land, attacked several people who were left with serious injuries and then hospitalised. In addition they organised a massive attack, carried out by around 200 terrorist, where they set cars on fire and burned a cafè on the way to the olive groves.
