Young Professionals for Statehood Society Young Professionals for Statehood The time have come for us to step up and raise our voices.

The Young Professionals for Statehood Society (YPSO) is an organization determined to support political, social and cultural efforts that advocates for Puerto Rico's admission to the United States of America as the 51st state. Statehood will give Puerto Rico citizens full representation in the United States Congress, the presidential vote and to be eligible to receive federal assistance like that

provided to all of the states. We contend that the full rights and responsibilities of citizenship should be granted to residents of Puerto Rico aiming for a political and social stability, particularly as an economic development tool. We will be hosting meet and greet and networking events that will help our community in the exchange of ideas and solutions towards our common goal. We will officially endorse political candidates that we as an organization see that have real conviction and true willingness to support and fight for our efforts for Puerto Rico' s admission as the 51st state. Let's thrive for a better tomorrow
