We invite recent bachelor’s degree graduates to apply to the NCI-funded (award # R25AI183304) REPMIC program hosted at the University of Puerto Rico Comprehensive Cancer Center.
REPMIC offers a 37-week, full-time (37.5 hrs/week), in-person research training experience focused on understanding the relationship between microbes, infections, and cancer. Participants are matched with expert mentors and gain hands-on experience in basic, clinical/translational, or population sciences.
Each year, 10 trainees are selected to strengthen their research skills and prepare for doctoral programs or health professional careers, including Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health. The program also includes professional development workshops, seminars, and career support activities.
