The Air Assault Development Program came together on 11 February 2026, to complete Xavi’s WOD, a tribute to our fallen Brother who we lost two years ago.

There aren’t many pictures from this session, and that’s because we were all fully engaged, committed to pushing ourselves in honor of Xavi. He wasn’t just a teammate, he was a friend and a model of resilience. His strength and spirit still drive us.

Every rep we completed, every challenge was done with his memory in mind. Xavi, you’ll never be forgotten. Your legacy lives on with every breath we take and every goal we achieve. Rest easy, Brother. We’ve got it from here.

Best Warrior Competition Representing with Pride

Right now, Warriors from across the ranks are stepping up, being tested mentally, physically, and tactically in the Best Warrior Competition where only the most disciplined and resilient stand out.

We want to recognize two outstanding Soldiers from the Air Assault Development Program Cadre who are currently in the fight:

SSG Montalvo Luis D.
SPC Ortega Joey

These Soldiers are not just competing they are representing everything our program stands for: grit, discipline, and excellence under pressure.

No matter the outcome, stepping onto that field already speaks volumes about your character and commitment to the standard.

💥 Stay focused. Stay aggressive. Trust your training.

Your team is behind you, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Three Soldiers. One Standard. One Outstanding Achievement!

Today we recognize three members of the Air Assault Development Program who successfully graduated from Air Assault School at Fort Benning, Georgia. Earning the Air Assault Badge is no small feat, it reflects discipline, resilience, and commitment to excellence.

Their success is first and foremost a testament to their individual hard work and determination. At the same time, having three Soldiers graduate together is a proud moment for the Program and reinforces the standard we strive to build every day.

Well done. Air Assauuuuuuult!

🔥🔥 Motivation Monday🔥🔥

Persistence isn’t loud. It’s showing up again after you already know how hard it’s going to be.

Setbacks happen. What matters is who gets back in line, tightens the chinstrap, and goes back to work. This Soldier did exactly that came back, put in the work, and earned his Air Assault wings this past Friday.

That’s grit. That’s discipline. That’s how goals get crushed.
Proud of you Carlos Lorenzo . Air Assault!

🔥🔥Tuesday Motivation🔥🔥

Nobody cares about your workout when you’re alone.
No formation. No NCO. No one timing your run.

That’s where Army Values show up for real.

Integrity: do the reps you want to skip.
Duty: finish, no matter how slow it gets.
Personal Courage: stay in the fight with yourself.

Easy choices don’t build Air Assault Soldiers.
Hard, quiet, unseen work does.

Feel the fear, do it anyway! Air Assault 🚁

🏋️‍♂️ WOD Honoring SGT Xavier Acevedo Rodriguez 🏋️‍♀️

This February, we come together to honor the life, service, and legacy of our brother-in-arms, SGT Xavier Acevedo Rodriguez. Two years later, his example of strength, courage, and dedication continues to inspire us. Today and always, we honor him with a challenge that reflects the warrior spirit he lived every day.

The Challenge:
• 25 burpees then run 200m
• 25 push-ups (Air Assault Community: AA or Diamond Push-ups) & 25 Squats then run another 200m.
* Repeat 4 rounds

Throughout the month of February, let’s push ourselves in his honor. This is more than a workout it is a commitment to remember, to stay resilient, and to carry forward the impact SGT Acevedo Rodriguez had on all of us. Whether you knew him personally or serve inspired by his example, take this time to honor his memory through effort, discipline, and unity.
This initiative is proudly led by Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 296th Infantry Regiment, "Zombies" , with special thanks to 1LT Juan M Vázquez for creating this meaningful tribute workout.

Share your journey using and help us continue honoring his legacy through strength, perseverance, and brotherhood.

For Xavier. Always. 💪

🔥🔥Motivation Monday🔥🔥

“We do not rise to the level of our expectations. We fall to the level of our training.”

Discipline is built in the small choices, one must tightening the standards, by pushing one more rep, finishing the ruck strong, studying when no one is watching.

When the mission gets hard, you won’t rely on hype.
You’ll rely on what you disciplined yourself to do every single day.

Train hard.
Train right.

Feel the fear. Do it anyway. Air Assauuuuuuult 🚁

Air Assault Development Program | January 2026

The first official assembly is complete! Soldiers selected from December 2025 tryouts tackled Phase I Air Assault training, including Army aircraft, aeromedical evacuation, combat assault, hand & arm signals, Pathfinder ops, and call for fire.

They were pushed to the limits with physical training, a four-mile run, Rifle PT, written and hands-on testing.

Only the disciplined thrive here!
Earned, not given! Feel the fear. Do it anyway! Air Assauuuuuuult 🚁
