Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 296th Infantry Regiment, "Zombies" The 296th Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard consisting mostly of Puerto Rican enlisted soldiers and officers.

*We reserve the rights to delete any comments and negative or offensive content. Today, only its 1st Battalion remains active; being allotted to the 92nd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. The 296th is

composed by the first battalion of infantrymen that engaged in combat as a Puerto Rico National Guard unit, as the 65th Infantry Regiment was, at the time, a regular Army unit. It is one of several National Guard units with colonial roots. The Battalion is composed of four infantry companies, A through D, with Charlie Company being the third, a headquarters company and a logistical support company. We see our sister companies as both comrades in arms and friendly competitors, our goal is to be the best amongst all infantry units in our territory, and set the standard for all other units in the Puerto Rico National Guard.

Today, we honor all who have worn the uniform and stood ready to defend our nation. To the Soldiers of Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 296th Infantry Regiment, thank you for your unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to the mission.

Your courage, loyalty, and service—past and present—reflect the true spirit of what it means to be a Soldier. Each of you continues to uphold the proud legacy of those who came before us.

Remember, it’s not only for your country, but for the brothers and sisters you do it with!

To our veterans—thank you for your service. To our Soldiers still serving—thank you for carrying the torch.

Good afternoon Zombies
Yellow ribbon is around the corner, and there’s only 20% of the personnel registered for this event, this is a requirement and a great way to finish what we started together, unfortunately I won’t be able to attend I will be reporting to my 1st drill with my new assigned unit, but I’ve been tasked with trying to make sure that everyone who can will attend this event. Stay safe my brothers, I’ll see you around, always here for my guys. Zombie 1-7 off line.

After this past few years of being a part of this distinguished organization I've been officially transferred to the 65th infantry, I was honored to be deployed with the unit of my own and with a tremendous group of soldiers and friends who I am proud to call my brothers. New beginnings are awaiting me with this upcoming opportunity, but always remember, one's a Zombie always a Zombie, thanks to the ones that gave me the opportunity to be part and lead this amazing unit, and for the ones that were not that supportive of me thanks you too, you are also part of our success as a unit.
