Beastro has officially opened its doors. Warm congratulations to Timberline Studio on welcoming players into this cozy, creature-filled world.

QLOC supported the project with functional and compliance testing, helping make sure cozy but dangerous culinary adventure was ready for players. 🎮

Beastro is a charming mix of fantasy adventure, cooking, farming and deckbuilding. Players step into the role of Panko, a young chef running a local eatery, gathering ingredients, preparing meals for villagers and feeding the Caretakers - brave adventurers who protect the village from monsters beyond the wall. In this world, saving the day starts with a good meal.

A cult RPG is returning, and we’re proud to support THQNordic and Alkimia Interactive in bringing it to life.

QLOC is supporting the Polish version of the game with a broad localization scope: translation, editing, recording setup, dubbing direction in collaboration with Roboto Sound and full Polish linguistic testing.

With years of expertise in high-quality dubbing and game localization, our Albion team ensures that the Polish version captures the soul of the original.

The remake takes players back to the Valley of the Mines, offering a faithful take on the cult RPG from 2001 while combining the atmosphere of the original with a modern approach to visuals, world design and gameplay. The gates are opening once again.

Witchspire from Envar Games is entering Early Access. Big congratulations to the team on bringing this witchy open-world adventure to players! 🧙‍♀️

QLOC’s developers supported the project with heavy network and rendering pipeline optimization. Our team also handled functional testing.

Witchspire is a co-op open-world witch adventure where players can explore a hand-crafted world, grow their magical powers, befriend or battle creatures, build a sanctuary and work to stop corruption from spreading. The game can be played solo or together with other witches online.

World Bicycle Day is a good moment to talk about Dragothon, QLOC’s internal sports initiative that encourages our teams to stay active by walking, running and cycling. Every kilometer contributes to a shared company challenge.

This year, Dragothon reached its 20th edition. For us, this milestone shows that the initiative has become more than a one-time campaign, it has grown into a long-term part of QLOC’s company life.

Over the past five years, across all editions, around 400 participants have taken part and covered 481,802 km in total. That is a strong reminder that simple, regular movement can make a real difference.

Congratulations to all who have helped build Dragothon across 20 editions! 🐉

Does your game need QA and LOC synergy? 🤔

At DevGAMM Gdańsk 2026, Jakub Dudkowski will look at both sides of this question: when keeping localization and QA close together can help a project, when separate workflows may work just as well and what this choice means for quality, communication and release timing.

Jakub Dudkowski - Lead QA Project Manager at QLOC and a gamedev veteran since 2012. He has worked with publishers like Warner Bros. and Obsidian Entertainment, and translated Tekken 8 into Polish. When he’s not dissecting QA workflows, he’s a pillar of the fighting game community and a massive horror fan.
