⚽ Today marks the beginning of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. For the 13th time, the 🇨🇭 Swiss men's national football team heads to the prestigious tournament, eager to score goals and win games. 🥅

On Saturday at 21:00 PM, Switzerland will play its first game against 🇶🇦 Qatar. During the group phase, Switzerland will also play against 🇧🇦 Bosnia-Herzegovina and 🇨🇦 Canada. We can't wait to see you all on the field! 🤝

🎶 Join us for a series of concerts in Elbląg as part of the IV Elbląg Organ Festival. 🇵🇱

🎵 On 7 June at 19:00, at St. Adalbert’s Church in Elbląg, the evening will feature renowned Italian organist and harpsichordist Stefano Molardi, one of Europe’s leading interpreters of Baroque music. 🇨🇭 Switzerland has played an important role in his artistic journey: he collaborated with the Académie Bach in Porrentruy and today serves as Professor of Organ at the University School of Music in Lugano.

He will be joined by Elbląg-born cellist Barbara Misiewicz, whose musical path also led her to Switzerland, where she earned her master's degrees at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.

🎵 On 14 June at 19:00, the festival continues with a unique concert featuring Bogusław Grabowski (organ) and Maciej Sikała (saxophone), presenting an inspiring dialogue between the majestic sound of the organ and the expressive voice of the saxophone.

Jeśli przed wejściem na salę konferencyjną czekają na was roboty 🤖 – to musi być Kraśnik! W ubiegłym tygodniu mieliśmy wielką przyjemność uczestniczyć w uroczystym otwarciu projektu „Kraśnik – bezpieczne miasto nowej generacji”. Tytuł projektu idealnie podsumowuje cel ośmiu kompleksowych zadań, które postawiło przed sobą miasto. Trzymamy kciuki za ich realizację i dziękujemy za zaproszenie! 🍀

Kraśnik rozpoczął realizację projektu „Bezpieczne Miasto Nowej Generacji” za 86,5 mln zł, finansowanego głównie z Polsko-Szwajcarskiego Programu Rozwoju Miast. Zaplanowano osiem działań m.in. w obszarze bezpieczeństwa, energii i edukacji.

👏 Gratulujemy Siemianowicom Śląskim oficjalnego rozpoczęcia projektu „REgeneracja Miast” w ramach Szwajcarsko-Polskiego Programu Współpracy!

Projekt pokazuje, jak wiele można osiągnąć dzięki silnej i długofalowej współpracy samorządów – w tym przypadku Siemianowic Śląskich i Czeladzi. 🤝

„REgeneracja Miast” stawia na włączenie społeczne mieszkańców, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem seniorów 👵👴. Kompleksowe działania obejmują nie tylko zdrowie i opiekę zdrowotną, ale także integrację społeczną, rozwój terenów zielonych oraz inwestycje infrastrukturalne, które poprawią jakość życia wszystkich mieszkańców.

Wydarzenie inauguracyjne było okazją do poznania śląskiej gościnności i dziedzictwa, wysłuchania partnerów projektu oraz ekspertów zaangażowanych w jego realizację, a także zobaczenia miejsc, w których już wkrótce zajdą pozytywne zmiany.

☀️ Hrubieszów to miasto z klimatem nie tylko w swoim sloganie – z naszego pobytu zapamiętamy słoneczną pogodę, piękne krajobrazy i niezwykłą gościnność, ale klimat tworzą przede wszystkim jego mieszkańcy. To oni stoją w centrum oficjalnie już rozpoczętego projektu „Rezylientny Hrubieszów - miasto gotowe na wyzwania przyszłości”.
Hrubieszów stawia na długofalowy rozwój miasta i jego odporność w wielu aspektach: rozwój przedsiębiorczości 📈, terenów zielonych 🌿, skupienie się na edukacji młodzieży👩‍🎓A to tylko niektóre z elementów kompleksowego programu rozwoju miasta.

Z wielką przyjemnością uczestniczyliśmy w uroczystej inauguracji planowanych działań. Serdecznie dziękujemy za wspaniały czas, możliwość poznania fascynującej historii i zabytków miasta i trzymamy kciuki za realizację projektu!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Swiss ski jumper and Milano Cortina Olympic bronze medalist Gregor Deschwanden to the Embassy in Warsaw. 🇨🇭🎿🥉

During the visit, he, his partner, and Ms. Hanna Wawrowska from the Polish Olympic Committee & the International Fair Play Committee, met with Ambassador Fabrice Filliez met with Ambassador Fabrice Filliez for an interesting exchange and also took time to speak with members of the Embassy team. 🇨🇭 🤝 🇵🇱

We thank Gregor Deschwanden for his thoughtful gesture of gifting the Embassy a signed tricot and for allowing the team to take a closer look at his Olympic medal. 🔎

Formed in 2022, GRÜM brings together four distinct artistic voices from a rich Swiss–German–Polish cultural mix, transforming their diverse backgrounds into a singular, evolving sound world. Their music thrives on exploration, blending unusual sonic textures with a deep commitment to collective creation.

On April 27, the Embassy together with the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with the three Swiss companies Novartis Poland, Roche Polska and Sandoz Polska, organised the 15th edition of the Forum for Health Dialogue titeled "Prevention First: Systemic Solutions and the Role of Employers". It focused on health promotion and disease prevention – two key strategic priorities for both 🇨🇭 and 🇵🇱.

🗣️ The conference was opened by Ulrich Schwendimann, Managing Director of the Chamber, and Luca Laloli, Head of Economic, Financial, Scientific and EU-Affairs at the Embassy. The guests and speakers were also welcomed by Marc Bruchez, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy and Marek Szymański, Vice-President of the Chamber.

❤️‍🩹 The conference included keynote speeches by Monika Wielichowska, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, and Dr Beata Małecka-Libera, Chair of the Senate Health Committee, and our special guest from Switzerland, Maria Luisa Gasparri MD, PhD, Prof., Executive Board Member and Swiss Ambassador of EUBREAST, Founder and President of GOWinners (Women in Research).

⌛ The conference also marked the launch of the initiative "Preventive Leave – 8 hours for medical check-ups" initiated by Novartis Poland, Roche Polska and Sandoz Polska.

🤝 The panel discussion on “Prevention First: Systemic Solutions and the Role of Employers” with Dr Łukasz Balwicki, Professor at the Medical University of Warsaw, Head of the Department of Public Health and Social Medicine, Maria Luisa Gasparri, Anna Kupiecka, President of the OnkoCafe – Razem Lepiej Foundation and Vice-President of the Polish Oncology Federation, Dr Maria Pietrzak, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management, Warsaw School of Economics, Prof. Jolanta Walusiak-Skorupa, MD, PhD, Director of the Prof. J. Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź, and Bernard Waśko, MD, PhD, Director of the National Institute of Public Health – National Research Institute, as well as moderator Dominika Pietrzyk, brought the event to a close.

Yesterday, Ambassador Fabrice Filliez joined the official ceremony during the celebration of the Polish constitution day. 🇵🇱

On 3 May 1791, the Sejm of Poland-Lithuania adopted the first constitution of its kind in Europe and the second in the world, after that of the United States of America, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. 📜 This remarkable document reflected the reform debates that had been taking place in Poland since the 16th century and drew inspiration from the ideas of the Enlightenment and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen (1789). ✒️ After 1990, Constitution Day was reinstated and has since been celebrated as one of Poland’s most important national holidays.
