uprzejmie informujemy, że Uniwersytet Jagielloński dokonał zakupu e-książek opublikowanych przez wydawnictwo Springer Verlag w latach 2020-2025. Zasób stanowi uzupełnienie licencji krajowej Springer, która zwiera m.in. książki z lat 1888-2019 (więcej informacji na stronie ICM – Wirtualna Biblioteka Nauki).

Ponadto, Biblioteka Jagiellońska uzyskała czasowy dostęp testowy do zasobów cyfrowych „The Japan Times”, najstarszej anglojęzycznej gazety w Japonii.
Dostęp testowy obejmuje zarówno archiwalne jak i bieżące numery czasopisma.

De Gruyter Brill eBooks (kolekcja Complete)
Wielodziedzinowa kolekcja oferująca dostęp do e-booków wydawnictwa De Gruyter oraz publikacji wydawnictw partnerskich. Zakup na własność licencji w modelu EBA (Evidence Based Acquisition). Po zakończeniu okresu umownego na ebooki, nastąpi zakup na wieczyste użytkowanie wybranych książek (za kwotę depozytu), wytypowanych na podstawie statystyk.

Dostęp do baz został sfinansowany ze środków POB Heritage w ramach Programu Strategicznego Inicjatywa Doskonałości w Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim.

We would like to inform you that the Jagiellonian University has purchased e-books published by Springer Verlag in the years 2020–2025. This collection complements the national Springer license, which includes books from 1888–2019 (more information available on the ICM – Virtual Library of Science website).

Additionally, the Jagiellonian Library has obtained temporary trial access to the digital resources of The Japan Times, the oldest English-language newspaper in Japan. The trial includes both archived and current issues of the publication.

The archive allows full-text searching of all issues of the newspaper from 1897–2024. Five collections are available within this resource:

A multidisciplinary collection of over 90 full-text academic journals published by the University of Chicago Press, the largest and one of the oldest university presses in the United States, operating continuously since 1890.

De Gruyter Brill eBooks (Complete Collection)
A multidisciplinary collection offering access to e-books published by De Gruyter and its partner publishers.
The license was purchased under the EBA (Evidence Based Acquisition) model. After the contract period ends, selected books (up to the value of the deposit) will be purchased for perpetual access, based on usage statistics.
Access available until 31 December 2026.
Access to the databases supported by a grant from the Priority Research Area Heritage under the Strategic Programme Excellence Initiative at the Jagiellonian University.
Database access is available via the explorUJ discovery system, and detailed descriptions can be found on the Jagiellonian Library website under: Digital Resources > Trial Access Databases.
