Raju Lama analyses the expanding international voice of the Global South, cooperation among China, Russia and India despite their strategic differences, the potential of the SCO Plus format, and the opportunities this changing geopolitical environment may create for Nepal and other developing countries.

The emergence of a multipolar world does not automatically guarantee a fairer international system. Its credibility will depend on whether political declarations can be transformed into meaningful multilateral cooperation, sustainable development, peaceful conflict resolution and practical benefits for societies.

The Global South increasingly seeks not only representation, but genuine participation in shaping the decisions that affect the international community as a whole.
