The worthy Secretary Social Welfare & bait ul maal department Punjab Madam. Saira Umar visited the panagah sargodha accompanied with Divisional Director Social Welfare Sargodha Respected Ms. Shakira Noreen and Deputy Director Social Welfare Sargodha.
The incharge panagah welcome the respected Madam Saira umar with bouquet on her arrival in panagah. after that Madam saira umar briefed in detail by the divisional director regarding ongoing boarding and lodging services provided by panagah free of cost to the general public and specifically for the guardians and caretakers of patients admitted in nawaz sharif institute of cardiology sargodha and faisal masood teaching hospital sargodha. She inspected the indoor hall for residents and check records of inmates and quality of services. She insisted to uplift the services and focus on advertisement and projection of this government facility so that maximum people get benefit from this government facility.

On 25 August 2026, worthy Secretary Social Welfare Punjab e. Respected Ms. Saira Umar visited the Medical Social Services Unit (MSSU), DHQ Teaching Hospital Sargodha, accompanied by Divisional Director Social Welfare Sargodha Respected Ms. Shakira Noreen and Deputy Director Social Welfare Sargodha.

The visit commenced with a visit to Rao Manan Dialysis Centre, where the Secretary met with Mr. Tahir Khaliq, President Anjuman-e-Falah-e-Insaniyat, and other members. On the request of Mr. Tahir Khaliq, the worthy Secretary inaugurated a dialysis machine donated specifically for Hepatitis patients. She also visited the patients, inquired about their well-being, and distributed fruits among them.
Later, the worthy Secretary visited the office of the Medical Social Services Unit, where the Assistant Director MSSU briefed her on the registration of persons with disabilities, Disability Boards, the procedure for issuance of disability certificates, the MIS system, medical camps, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal services, and various welfare services being provided to deserving patients.
Respected Maam Saira Umar expressed satisfaction over the services being provided by MSSU and appreciated the efforts of the Assistant Director. She emphasized that continued efforts should be made to further facilitate patients and deserving individuals by ensuring accessible, efficient, and maximum service delivery.

The worthy Secretary Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Madam. Saira Umar concluded a detailed visit to district Sargodha.

Madam Saira Umar inspected the Social Welfare Complex, Sanat Zaar, Panah Gah, Shelter Home, Children’s Homes, and other institutions. The Secretary Social Welfare reviews service delivery at the institutions and the facilities being provided to deserving individuals. She directed officials to accelerate measures aimed at equipping women with skills and empowering them economically. She directed that products made by girls receiving training at Sanat Zaar be effectively showcased and promoted. She directed to officers that women who complete their training be provided with e-commerce and digital accounts and connected with online platforms.
“Skilled women should be given access to markets so that they can become economically independent,” said Madam Saira Umar.
“Social Welfare institutions should improve their services and activities in line with modern requirements instead of following traditional approaches,” said Madam Saira Umar.
The Secretary Social Welfare reviews accommodation, food, cleanliness, and other basic facilities at Panah Gah. She inspects the facilities, security arrangements, and other services being provided to women at the Shelter Home/Women Crisis Center. Madam Saira Umar meets girls at the Modern Children’s Home and distributes gifts among them. She attends a birthday celebration for two children at the Boys’ Children’s Home and cuts a cake with the children. The Secretary Social Welfare inspects the under-construction Protection Center, Old Age Home, and other development projects.
“Construction work on the projects should be completed expeditiously and in accordance with the prescribed standards,” said by Maam Saira Umar.
The Secretary Social Welfare also visited Medical Social Services at Civil Hospital and reviews the social and medical assistance being provided to patients.
In line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, empowering women to stand on their own feet is a key priority of the Punjab Government,” said by Maam Saira Umar.
Along with providing women with skills, they are also being connected with modern markets and digital platforms,” said by Maam Saira Umar. The achievements of trainees at Social Welfare institutions and the products they make should be effectively promoted and publicized,” said by Maam Saira Umar.
The She also planted a sapling as part of the plantation campaign during the visit.

Independence Day Celebration at Transitional Home
The Divisional Director Madam Shakira Noreen along with Deputy Director Madam Zeba Andleeb sargodha participated Independence Day celebration which was held with great enthusiasm at the Transitional Home, where the residents participated wholeheartedly in the patriotic program.
The event featured beautiful tableaus, milli naghmay, and inspiring speeches, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and love for Pakistan.
A very special thanks to philanthropist Madam Shazia Bangish for her valuable presence, support, and encouragement.

Independence Day Celebration at Children Home Male Sargodha

The event was graced by the respected Madam Shakira Noreen, Divisional Director, and Madam Zaiba Andleeb, Deputy Director, Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal sargodha.
The Independence Day celebration at Children Home Male Sargodha was held with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The day was honoured by the presence of President Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Khawaja Yasir, along with generous philanthropists Mr. & Mrs. Ch. Saeed and Mrs. Shazia Bangish.
The residents enthusiastically celebrated the day and presented Holy Verses from the Quran, Naat, speeches, and beautiful tableaus highlighting the spirit of independence and love for Pakistan.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem. The ceremony ended with a special dua for the safety, peace, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan. 🇵🇰

'79th Independence Day Event'
Mrs. Shakira Noreen, Divisional Director, Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Sargodha, attended Jashn-e-Azadi event as Chief Guest, along with Mrs. Zeba Andleeb, Deputy Director sargodha with great national fervour at Children Home (Female), Sargodha
The day commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony amid rose petals and chants of Pakistan Zindabad, followed by a plantation drive and a special prayer for the prosperity of the country.
The ceremony included recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat, national songs and a tableau performance by the resident children, culminating in the cutting of a flag-themed cake.
Mrs. Shazia Bangash, Member Sargodha Chamber of Commerce, also graced the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, they paid tribute to the sacrifices of our forefathers, appreciated the children’s performances, and reaffirmed the Department’s commitment to the care, education and wellbeing of the children of the Home.
