🇵🇰 Defence Day Celebration – 2026 🇵🇰

A patriotic Defence Day Celebration was held at Jinnah Hall, Sahiwal, with the active participation of TEVTA Institutes of District Sahiwal. The event was graced by Dr. Asif Tufail, Commissioner Sahiwal, as the Chief Guest. Principals, faculty members, and students from various TEVTA Institutes participated with great enthusiasm.

Government College of Technology, Sahiwal also participated wholeheartedly in the event, with its faculty members, and students actively contributing to the celebrations. Students presented patriotic speeches, engaging debates, and national songs, expressing their love for Pakistan and paying tribute to the courage and sacrifices of our Armed Forces.

The event reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, discipline, and national pride among the youth.

Meezan Bank Sahiwal Campus Recruitment Drive at GCT Sahiwal

On 1 September 2026, a Campus Recruitment Drive was organized by Meezan Bank at Government College of Technology , Sahiwal. Graduates of TEVTA’s Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Graphic Designing, and Data Analytics programs participated in the recruitment drive.

A total of 34 male and female graduates participated , out of whom 11 candidates were shortlisted for final selection.

This initiative provided TEVTA graduates with a valuable opportunity to showcase their skills and explore promising career opportunities in the banking sector.

🌳 Mass Level Tree Plantation Event – 01 September 2026 🌱

In compliance with the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Sahiwal, a Mass Level Tree Plantation Event was organized on 01 September 2026 at LBDC Canal, adjacent to Jhall Road, Sahiwal.

Government College of Technology, Sahiwal participated actively in this important plantation drive. A large number of students and faculty members of GCT Sahiwal attended the event and took part in the plantation of a significant number of trees, reflecting the institution’s commitment to environmental protection and a greener future.

Students from various colleges and universities across District Sahiwal also participated enthusiastically in the event. GCT Sahiwal proudly demonstrated its strong and significant representation through the participation of a large number of its students.

The event provided a meaningful opportunity for students and other stakeholders to contribute collectively towards a cleaner, greener and healthier Sahiwal. 🌱🌍

MOU Signing & Internship Opportunity Saucy Master Pizza & Grill, Sahiwal

Date: 31 August 2026

A MOU was successfully signed between Saucy Master Pizza & Grill, Sahiwal and TEVTA(Distt. Office Sahiwal/Pakpattan) for students of DAE Food Processing & Preservation Technology.

As a result of this collaborative initiative, 04 students were selected for internship opportunities at Saucy Master Pizza & Grill, Sahiwal.

The successful placement of these students was facilitated by the District Placement Officer, Sahiwal,Institute Placement Officer, GCT Sahiwal, and Technology Placement Officer (Food), GCT Sahiwal, who jointly worked to connect students with valuable industry-based learning opportunities.

🌟Special thanks to Mr. Hafiz Mubashir Azeem, CEO, Saucy Master Pizza & Grill, Sahiwal, for his valuable cooperation and support in providing practical training opportunities to our students.

This MOU is another step towards strengthening Industry Academia linkages, enhancing practical skills, and improving employability opportunities for TEVTA students.
