گومل یونیورسٹی سے ملحقہ نجی کالجوں میں بے ضابطگیاں، محکمہ ہائر ایجوکیشن کا ایچ ای سی سے جامع تحقیقات کا مطالبہ

پشاور: خیبر پختونخوا میں گومل یونیورسٹی، ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان سے ملحقہ نجی کالجوں کے ریکارڈ میں سنگین بے ضابطگیوں اور تضادات کا انکشاف ہوا ہے۔ ہائر ایجوکیشن ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (HERA) کی جانب سے دستیاب ریکارڈ کے جائزے اور بعض ملحقہ کالجوں کی فزیکل انسپکشن کے دوران داخلوں، رجسٹریشن، انرولمنٹ، حاضری، امتحانات اور دیگر تعلیمی ریکارڈ میں متعدد خامیوں اور تضادات کی نشاندہی کی گئی۔

ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ خیبر پختونخوا نے HERA کی رپورٹ کی روشنی میں معاملہ چیئرمین ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) اسلام آباد کے سامنے اٹھاتے ہوئے گومل یونیورسٹی اور اس سے ملحقہ نجی کالجوں کی جامع اور مکمل تصدیق کی درخواست کی ہے۔

محکمہ کی جانب سے ایچ ای سی سے کہا گیا ہے کہ گومل یونیورسٹی اور اس کے نجی شعبے سے ملحقہ کالجوں کی وابستگی، علاقائی دائرۂ اختیار، داخلوں، حاضری، امتحانات اور ڈگریوں کے ریکارڈ کی مکمل جانچ کی جائے۔

اس کے علاوہ ایسے نجی کالجوں یا پروگراموں میں مزید داخلوں پر عبوری پابندی عائد کرنے کی درخواست بھی کی گئی ہے جو HERA کے ساتھ متعلقہ شعبے میں باقاعدہ رجسٹرڈ نہ ہوں، تاکہ ان کی حیثیت کی مکمل تصدیق تک مزید طلبہ کے داخلوں کا عمل روکا جا سکے۔

محکمہ نے ایسے جاری کردہ ڈگریوں کی بھی تصدیق کی سفارش کی ہے جن کے متعلق طلبہ کا بنیادی ریکارڈ نامکمل، مشکوک یا دستیاب نہ ہو۔ مزید برآں، ایسے گریجویٹس سے مناسب صلاحیت/تصدیقی ٹیسٹ لینے پر بھی غور کرنے کی درخواست کی گئی ہے جہاں دستیاب تعلیمی ریکارڈ مقررہ تعلیمی تقاضوں کی تکمیل ثابت نہ کرتا ہو۔

حکام کے مطابق نجی کالجوں کے طلبہ، امتحانات، حاضری اور دیگر متعلقہ ریکارڈ کو گومل یونیورسٹی کے ریکارڈ سے باقاعدہ طور پر ملایا جائے گا اور تضادات ثابت ہونے کی صورت میں قانون کے مطابق کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

محکمہ ہائر ایجوکیشن نے معاملے کو فوری بنیادوں پر نمٹانے پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ تعلیمی اسناد کی ساکھ، طلبہ کے مستقبل اور اعلیٰ تعلیم کے نظام کی شفافیت کے تحفظ کے لیے جامع کارروائی ضروری ہے

Art & Painting Workshop at IMSciences



An engaging and creative Art & Painting Workshop was held at IMSciences in collaboration with Phulwari and Noyyaa Art Clubs.



The workshop provided participants with an opportunity to explore their creativity through canvas painting and wooden box painting. Students from different educational institutes of Peshawar enthusiastically participated, turning the space into a vibrant display of colours, imagination, and artistic expression.



It was a wonderful creative activity that encouraged young artists to experiment, express themselves, and appreciate the beauty of art.

Eid-E- Milad Naabi Observed at IMSciences Peshawar
Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Mohammad. The festival is observed by many Muslims from the Sufi or the Barelvi school of thought. It is also known as Un-Nabi by the name of Eid-Milad, Nabi Day, Mohammad's birthday or the Prophet's birthday.

In this context the Art & Culture Society IMSciences celebrated Eid- Milad. The students and faculty of IMSciences participated in the event and recited Naat, Qirat and Darood o Salam. They also presented speeches on the life of the Holy Prophet.
Madam Romi Naz, a religious scholar, dilated upon the significance of the month of Rabi-ul-Awal and threw light on the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Two days Leadership Consultation on Curriculum reforms and Good Governance in KP Higher Education concluded at University of Swat which was attended by all KP Universities Vice Chancellors, Deans, Senior Faculty and administration along with HEC and HED senior officers participation. Prof Dr Zia ul Haq Executive Director HEC Islamabad was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. Participants appreciated the role of Vice Chancellor University of Swat Prof Dr Muhammad Qasim and Dr Imran Ullah Marwat Director Quality Assurane HED KP for their active role in organizing and making the event successful. During two days consultation, participants give their valuable input on uniformity and standardization of BS program under HEC guidelines and steps for good governance in KP Institutions. Chief Guest Prof Dr Zia ul haq in his speech assure full support from HEC for KP Universities. Mr Abdul Akram Additional Secretary HED KP assured all participants that all their recommendations will be placed before KP government for approval and proper steps wil be taken for it's implementation to make sure for providing quality education in KP universities with good governance and academic management.

Independence Day Celebrations at IMSciences – 14 August 2026

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Peshawar, celebrated Pakistan's 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and national spirit on 14 August 2026. The event brought together faculty members, staff, students, and special guests to commemorate the sacrifices of the nation's founders and to reaffirm their commitment to Pakistan's progress and prosperity. The hosts for the event were Laloona Waqar and Mashal Abdullah.

The celebrations commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a guard parade, symbolizing respect, discipline, and national pride. The audience then joined in singing the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with unity and patriotism.

Following the ceremony, the Joint Director of IMSciences HOISTED THE National Flag of Pakistan. The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, marking the joyous occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day.

A special address was delivered by Sufyan Mustafa, who highlighted the significance of independence, the sacrifices made for the creation of Pakistan, and the responsibilities of the younger generation in building a peaceful, progressive, and prosperous nation. The most significant performance was given by the Karate Kids from Hayatabad Sports Complex.

The cultural segment featured captivating national songs performed by the students of the BS English programme, who paid tribute to the homeland through inspiring musical performances that received warm appreciation from the audience.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the event was the interaction with children from local orphanages, who participated in the celebrations with great excitement. Faculty members, staff, and students spent time with the children, sharing conversations, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness, making the occasion even more meaningful.
The ceremony concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values of unity, faith, discipline, and service to the nation. The Independence Day celebrations reflected IMSciences' commitment to promoting patriotism, social responsibility, and community engagement while fostering a sense of national pride among its students.
