لو دیکهو میری آنکهوں کو
یہ کتنی شوخ لگتی ہیں
میرے ہونٹوں کو دیکهو تم
ہمیشہ مسکراتی ہیں
کوئی بهی غم اگر آیا
اسے ہنس کر سہا میں نے
میرے چہرے کو دیکهو تم
ہمیشہ پرسکوں ہو گا
کیا تها میں نے جو تم سے
وه وعدہ کر دیا پورا
مگر ایک بات ہے جاناں
کبهی جو وقت مل جائے
تو میری شاعری پڑهنا
تمہیں محسوس هو گا یہ
کہیں پہ سرد سا لہجہ
کہیں پہ درد کی جهیلیں
کہیں لہجے کی کڑواہٹ
سنو جاناں
میں خوش تو ہوں مگر....
میرا ہر لفظ روتا ہے.
