وزیر اعلی خیبرپختونخواء کے معاون خصوصی برائے صنعت حرفت وفنی تعلیم ہمایون خان کی ہدایات پہ سمال انڈسٹریز ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ کے زیر انتظام مختلف اسٹیٹس میں کھلی کچہری کے انعقاد کا اغاز ہو چکا ہے اس سلسلے میں سمال انڈسٹریز اسٹیٹ مردان میں بھی کھلی کچہری کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں مقامی صنعت کاروں نے شرکت کی اور اسٹیٹ انچارج عدنان گل کو درپیش مسائل سے اگاہ کیا اس موقع پہ اسٹیٹ انچارج نے کھلی کچہری میں شرکاء کو درپیش مسائل سننے ان میں دلچسپی لی ور انہیں حل کرنے کی ہر ممکن یقین دہانی کرائی #

Marble Industry at Small Industries Estate Mardan,
The Small Industries Estate , Mardan, has emerged as one of the important centers of Pakistan’s marble industry. This industrial estate is widely known for its thriving marble sector, which has played a significant role in the economic development of the region. Around 270 marble processing factories are operating here, making SIE Mardan a major hub for marble cutting, polishing, finishing, and trade.
The marble industry has created employment opportunities for thousands, of workers. Skilled laborers, machine operators, technicians, transporters, loaders, office staff, and daily wage workers all depend directly or indirectly on this industry for their livelihoods. In addition, many ancillary businesses such as packaging, machinery maintenance, transportation, and construction material supply have also flourished due to the growth of the marble sector.
The factory owners and exporters are contributing to the national economy by earning valuable foreign exchange through exports of processed marble and granite products. Pakistani marble from SIE Mardan is supplied not only to domestic markets but also exported to countries in the Middle East, China, Europe, and other international destinations, where it is appreciated for its durability, natural beauty, and competitive pricing.
