Awareness Campaign and Complaint Cell for Eid-ul-Azha 2026 Cleanliness Drive
Pursuant to the directions of the worthy Commissioner Peshawar Division issued during the meeting held under his chairmanship at 1400 hours today, and subsequent instructions of the Deputy Commissioner/Administrator CMGP and Director General CMGP regarding the Eid-ul-Azha 2026 Cleanliness Drive, a Complaint Cell has been established to facilitate the general public during the Eid holidays.
In this regard, an awareness campaign is being carried out through social media and other communication channels. Furthermore, banners displaying the notified complaint telephone numbers are being installed at prominent locations and major roads within the jurisdiction of Capital Metropolitan Government Peshawar and its allied formations.
The objective of this initiative is to create awareness among the general public regarding the lodging of complaints and grievances related to cleanliness and sanitation services during Eid-ul-Azha. The Complaint Cell will ensure prompt redressal of public complaints in the larger public interest so that citizens may not face inconvenience during the Eid holidays.
