In order to implement the Directive of the worthy secretary Livestock Fisheries and Cooperative Department two farmers field days were conducted in Bamboriat and Rumbur in collaboration with the District Director Livestock Chitral Lower. Farmers were approached at their door steps and were educated about the husbandry practices, vaccination and health issues. Farmers discussed their problems with the technical staff of the VR&DIC Chitral and appreciated the efforts of this office.

آج بروز جمعرات، بمورخہ 23 اپریل 2026 کو ویٹرنری ریسرچ سنٹر بلوگرام، سوات میں اسوسی ایشن کے سابقہ صدر و بانی، جناب فرمان علی صاحب کی ریٹائرمنٹ کے موقع پر ایک نہایت پروقار اور یادگار تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔
تقریب کا باقاعدہ آغاز تلاوتِ کلامِ پاک سے ہوا، اس پروقار تقریب کی صدارت ریجنل ڈائریکٹر، جناب انور علی توری صاحب نے فرمائی، جبکہ سٹیج سیکرٹری کے فرائض موجودہ صدر، جناب رحمت اللہ خان صاحب نے بخوبی سرانجام دیے۔
اپنے خطاب میں جناب رحمت اللہ خان صاحب نے جناب فرمان علی صاحب کی خدمات کو زبردست خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ انہوں نے نہ صرف اپنے پیشہ ورانہ فرائض انتہائی دیانت اور محنت سے ادا کیے بلکہ بطور بانی صدر اسوسی ایشن کی مضبوط بنیاد رکھی۔ انہوں نے ہمیشہ اپنے ساتھیوں کی رہنمائی کی، ان کی حوصلہ افزائی کی اور مشکل حالات میں ایک مضبوط سہارا بن کر سامنے آئے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ان شاء اللہ پشاور ڈائریکٹوریٹ میں بھی جناب فرمان علی صاحب کے اعزاز میں ایک اور تقریب کا انعقاد کیا جائے گا۔
تقریب کے دوران دیگر مقررین نے بھی اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے جناب فرمان علی صاحب کی خدمات کو سراہا۔ آخر میں مہمانوں کے اعزاز میں پرتکلف کھانے کا اہتمام کیا گیا، جبکہ جناب فرمان علی صاحب کو سوات کی روایتی شال اور ٹوپی پہنائی گئی۔
اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ وہ جناب فرمان علی صاحب کو صحت، خوشی اور کامیابیوں بھری زندگی عطا فرمائے۔ آمین 🤲

In compliance with and in continuation of Government instructions, it is a matter of great pleasure to share that a plantation activity was successfully conducted with the gracious participation of esteemed officers of the Livestock Department. Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Ali DG(Research) L&DD, Dr. Asal Khan DG(Ext) L&DD, Dr. Barkat Khan Director LR&D Peshawar, and Dr. Rahmat Jan Afridi Director VRI Peshawar actively took part in planting saplings, demonstrating their strong commitment towards a greener and healthier environment.
Such initiatives not only enhance the natural beauty of our surroundings but also reflect our collective responsibility towards environmental sustainability and future generations.

The Management and Revival Committee of Research Stations (MRCRS) made its first comprehensive visit to the Livestock Research and Development Station, Surezai, on March 12, 2026. This visit was part of the Secretary LFC's initiative to revive research stations, focusing on improving management, boosting performance, achieving financial sustainability, and ensuring structural revival.
