ڈائریکٹر لیبر اور ڈپٹی کنٹرولر ویٹس اینڈ میژرز، پشاور کی ہدایات پر انسپکٹر ویٹس اینڈ میژرز کی جانب سے پشاور کے مختلف علاقوں جن میں *یونیورسٹی روڈ، ورسک روڈ، رنگ روڈ، حیات آباد، سفید سنگ، ناصر باغ روڈ اور پلوسئی* شامل ہیں، میں مختلف CNG اسٹیشنز اور پیٹرول پمپوں کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا گیا۔ معائنے کے دوران ڈسپنسنگ یونٹس کی کلیبریشن، گیجز کی جانچ پڑتال، گیج سیلنگ اور پیمائش کے معیار کو چیک کیا گیا تاکہ درست مقدار کی فراہمی اور قانونی تقاضوں پر مکمل عملدرآمد یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔ جن پمپس کے گیجز درست اور معیار کے مطابق پائے گئے، انہیں سراہا گیا جبکہ کم پیمائش یا عدم تعمیل کی صورت میں ویٹس اینڈ میژرز انفورسمنٹ ایکٹ 1976 کے تحت سخت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی گئی۔ عوامی مفاد، شفافیت اور صارفین کے حقوق کا تحفظ محکمہ کی اولین ترجیح ہے

The Inspector Weights and Measures Swat, Mr. Ramiz Murad, during inspection of a filling station in Kalam Road, Matta, Swat found a fraudulent device(mobile phone modified into remote control) for manipulating the gauge of the dispensers. The remote was seized and owner was prosecuted in the court of law. Owner was fined. The said filling station was on lease and upon finding this fraudulent activity, the lessor ended the agreement and lessee was asked to vacate the establishment.

The Inspector Weights and Measures Swat, Mr. Ramiz Murad during inspection of a filling station in Rahimabad, G.T. Road Swat found that the gauge seals already affixed to dispensers of the said filling station were missing. The modification was made in the assembly of the dispenser, first by removing the official seals. The manager was prosecuted in Labour Court Swat and was fined by the Honourable court. He was strictly warned against such fraudulent activities.
