آج 20 اگست 2026 کو خیبر پختونخوا کے مشیر برائے زراعت، جناب میاں محمد عمر کاکاخیل نے ڈائریکٹوریٹ جنرل ہیڈکوارٹرز، کراپ رپورٹنگ سروسز (CRS)، خیبر پختونخوا کا دورہ کیا۔

معزز مہمان کا استقبال ڈائریکٹر جنرل کراپ رپورٹنگ سروسز، سید الطاف احمد شاہ، نے ڈائریکٹوریٹ کے مختلف شعبہ جات، بشمول انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی، اکاؤنٹس، ٹیکنیکل اور دیگر شعبہ جات کے افسران و اہلکاروں کے ہمراہ پرتپاک انداز میں کیا۔ افسران و اہلکاروں نے معزز مہمان اور ان کے ہمراہ آنے والے وفد کو خوش آمدید کہا۔

دورے کے دوران مشیر زراعت نے CRS ہیڈکوارٹرز میں نو تزئین و آرائش شدہ اور جدید سہولیات سے آراستہ جیوگرافیکل انفارمیشن سسٹم (GIS) لیب کا باقاعدہ افتتاح کیا۔ یہ اقدام زرعی ڈیٹا کے انتظام، جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے استعمال اور فصلوں کی جدید نگرانی کے نظام کو مزید مستحکم کرنے کی جانب ایک اہم پیش رفت ہے۔

ڈائریکٹر جنرل کراپ رپورٹنگ سروسز نے معزز مہمانوں کو ڈائریکٹوریٹ کے مختلف شعبہ جات کی جانب سے ادارہ جاتی ذمہ داریوں کی مؤثر انجام دہی کے لیے جاری اقدامات، عملی سرگرمیوں، تکنیکی امور اور انتظامی امور کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔

اس دورے نے جاری اقدامات کا جائزہ لینے، CRS ٹیم کی کاوشوں کو سراہنے اور خیبر پختونخوا میں زرعی رپورٹنگ اور فیصلہ سازی کو مزید مؤثر بنانے کے لیے جدید ٹیکنالوجی اور ڈیٹا پر مبنی طریقۂ کار کے استعمال کو فروغ دینے کے حوالے سے اہم موقع فراہم کیا۔

Today, Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Agriculture, Mr. Mian Muhammad Umar Kakakhel, visited the Directorate General Headquarters, Crop Reporting Services (CRS), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa .
The distinguished guest was warmly received by Director General Crop Reporting Services, Syed Altaf Ahmad Shah, along with officers and staff from various sections of the Directorate, including Information Technology, Accounts, Technical and other sections, who extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation.
During the visit, the Advisor formally inaugurated the newly renovated and upgraded Geographical Information System (GIS) Lab at CRS Headquarters, marking an important step towards strengthening technology-driven agricultural data management and modern crop monitoring.
The Director General CRS briefed the visiting guests on the ongoing interventions, operational activities, technical assignments and administrative functions being undertaken by different sections of the Directorate to effectively fulfill the institutional mandate of Crop Reporting Services.
The visit provided an important opportunity to review ongoing initiatives, appreciate the efforts of the CRS team, and further strengthen the use of modern technology and data-driven approaches for improved agricultural reporting and decision-making in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Official Visit Update – Crop Reporting Services District Nowshera

On Friday, 31st July 2026, Mr. Shaheen Shah Saib, Statistician, Peshawar Division, along with Mr. Naz-ul-Ameen, GIS Analyst, visited Crop Reporting Services (CRS), District Nowshera. During the visit, the team conducted a detailed review of the GIS Survey of Crop Reporters and held a comprehensive training session for Crop Reporters aimed at improving the accuracy and quality of GIS Survey data collection. Mr. Shaheen Shah Saib also reviewed various ongoing CRS activities and provided his expert guidance for further improvement. The visit proved highly productive in strengthening the technical capacity of Crop Reporters and enhancing the overall standard of data accuracy.
