A one-day orientation session on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) was organized today under the supervision of the Government College for Elementary Teachers (GCET) Male Bagh as part of the ongoing CPD project. The session was arranged in response to a formal request made by the Principal of Pilot High School Bagh.
The orientation was conducted for the staff of Pilot High School Bagh. The session commenced with an address by Sardar Shokat Mehmood Chughtai, Principal of Government College for Elementary Teachers (GCET) Male Bagh, who elaborated in detail on the need and importance of CPD in enhancing teachers’ professional skills and improving the overall quality of education.
Following his address, various experts from GCET Male Bagh presented brief overviews of all CPD modules. They highlighted key components, objectives, and practical applications of each module to ensure better understanding among the participants.
In the concluding session, a detailed discussion was held on the School Improvement Plan (SIP). The participants were guided on how to develop an effective and structured improvement plan for their institution.
At the end of the session, the Principal and teaching staff of Pilot High School Bagh expressed their commitment to implementing the concepts learned. They assured that, Insha’Allah, they would prepare a comprehensive School Improvement Plan in written form within the next week and submit it to GCET Male Bagh for review.
The session concluded successfully with active participation and a strong commitment towards professional growth and institutional development.

DDS (F)poonch division Rehana Sha muhammad attend te session and then address to the audiance about training and responsibility of HT
Principal GCET Sayyeda Shanaz Akhtar along with teaching staff and clerks attend the whole session. She appreciate the resource person for their meaningful sessions.She explained that such productive session are very helpful for the HT but for the GCET faculty as well.
