Dhanni Mai Sahiba is a chair-shaped village consisting of a beautiful and fertile piece of land adjoining the municipal boundaries of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the only state of the Islamic State of Pakistan. The head of the village is the green hills which are connected to the tourist spot of Pir Chanasi in the city of Muzaffarabad. Dhanni Mai Sahib holds a unique position due to her fertile land, fresh water, population with Islamic values and traditions, pilgrimage, elders, scholars and solidarity. The area is inhabited by 80% Abbasis and 20% Miscellaneous people including Pathans, Sheikhs, Chaudhrys, Awans, Qaralals and Quraysh tribes but all of them are intertwined like a rosary due to their mutual relations. The late Sain Abdullah, Molvi Shah Wali, Mai Sahiba, Maulana Muhammad Ji and Maulvi Ghulam Rasool are among the eminent personalities of the village.
