A Civil Engineer graduate working in a multi-national firm – it was all great until here. But it felt like a jigsaw puzzle piece missing. Over the years, I realized, I was actually lacking the space to express myself completely through my work. Finally, I experienced a life-changing moment when I left Descon to start a job at Blue Cascade as Chief Risk Officer.

At first, I was into two minds, but soon I realized it was the right decision and that too at the right time. Just within no time, I made an impact on SEO and digital marketing field with all thanks to Blue Cascade for providing me with a chance to showcase what I’ve got in a better way.

My life has always been about achieving milestones and I can say proudly that I have attained a lot of achievements and will continue to do so.

Currently, I am doing my BBA from Institute of Southern Punjab (ISP). I specialize in marketing which is why I believe this internship will prove to be extremely constructive for me. A bachelor like me is always striving for practical work and Blue Cascade is providing me a fabulous work environment. It is professional as well as comfortable. The culture here has broadened my scope; everyone here has a say, can express his or her ideas, sessions to improve ourselves as a person.

It was an honor to represent the country in better way at various forums – clad in Pakistan Air Force jersey; it was a gratification like no other. After representing Pakistan Air Force for 18 years, I went on becoming manager for Etisalat and other bigwig gulf companies for around 10 years.

This has always been my motto. I always set realistic goals and have always worked my way hard to achieve them.
Getting into NUST - one of the most internationally recognized Pakistani universities - was an outstanding achievement for me and a dream come true. Yes, I did not get into my desired field but adapting to change is always good. Currently, I am doing my bachelors in Computer Science. Diving more and more into this field has already made me a technology enthusiast and I hope I grow, not only as a better computer scientist but as a person as well.

This is my first internship at a company; three weeks in and I have already fit into Blue Cascade's environment. Blue Cascade has improved my learning curve beyond my expectations; made me more confident, a better speaker and a better researcher. I believe I can really extract the best out of myself during my time here and hopefully this internship will be a good experience!

Even after getting top grades in BS CS, I felt like something wasn’t going my way. Lemme tell you I had a thorough knowledge of software and information technology, the only hindrance was a suitable workplace. With not getting what I deserved, I was bit despondent and that pushed me become a Careem Captain with utilizing my own car for this purpose.

One fine day it all changed for good as one of my clients offered me a job at his E-commerce and digital marketing office. I never knew this client before but the next day when I visited the office, I came to know it was Founder of Blue Cascade, one leading e-commerce company in Pakistan. Online gaming is something that makes me internally satisfied and everyone around very well understands this idea. But getting in the community of gamer and that too in Multan was somehow an impossible task.

My perception actually changed when I started off my job at Blue Cascade – these guys were equally passionate about gaming stuff. They not only had dedicated computers for gaming but a dedicated gaming lounge was there as well. It’s not a life style it’s a way of life. What thing is common in bikers is leather jacket and full scrambled tattoo helmet. This doesn’t means that I mess the around with everyone. The smile on the face and the eyes behind the glasses showing the fearless destination, but generally these are not the properties of life standard.
The property is to Honor; the way you treated the problems with smile and let’s not to bother others. This is the real life short story and the destination of life never ends.

Throwback to the time when was SEO was something new and every other lad was actually trying a hand at it. I was one of them too but unlike them, I was successfully doing it. With every passing day, SEO was getting weird like never before. It all looked like a nightmare but somehow it worked as a boon in disguise as with bidding adieu to SEO, I finally got a new dimension to move in.

It was as an E-commerce expert at Blue Cascade with an added responsibility of Chief Revenue Officer. I explored new horizons within no time with staying up as a team lead of the most profitable department of the company for one year now. I was really proud of graduating as an electrical engineer from NFC batch (2011-15) but I never knew what was actually next on the cards. Made strenuous efforts to get a job that would suit my calibre and personality but that felt like a quest for a unicorn – never happening.

It all was getting worse with every passing day as my marriage was getting delayed because of all this. Finally, my patience paid off and I got a job in a reputable firm Blue Cascade. The urge to do big was there right inside me since growing up. And that pushed me to master the art of digital marketing, or better to be called Social Media Marketing in particular. With doing things on my own and utilizing the bit of the facilities I got, I felt like I was good to go in any of the companies around. But being an early starter, I never knew that I would face the rejection just because of my tender age of 16.

Despondency took me over, but right then I came across e-commerce and digital marketing company known as Blue Cascade. I got hired as this workplace was very much on the same page, with believing that ‘Age is Just a Number’.
