The Pre-PAC Compliance Meeting regarding the Audit Paras of DEA, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal, Pakpattan, and Sahiwal for the Audit Year 2023–24 was held on August 17 at the School Education Department (SED), South Punjab, Multan, under the chairmanship of the Worthy Special Secretary, School Education Department, South Punjab. The meeting was convened to review the status of outstanding audit paras, examine the departmental replies and supporting record, and ensure timely compliance with the observations raised by the Audit Department. The concerned officers and representatives from the respective districts participated in the meeting and presented updates regarding the actions taken for the settlement of audit observations. The Worthy Special Secretary emphasized the importance of proper record maintenance, timely compliance, and resolution of all outstanding audit paras in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. The concerned officers were directed to take necessary corrective measures and furnish complete and satisfactory replies, along with supporting documents, within the stipulated timeframe. The meeting concluded with directions to ensure close follow-up and effective coordination among all concerned offices for the early settlement of the remaining audit paras.
