On Friday, 22 May 2026, an awareness session regarding the PMU-BESP Scholarship Program was successfully organized by the Department of ORIC, University of Loralai,
The program was conducted in collaboration with Government Girls Degree College Loralai and Professor Abdul Majeed Nasir. The session formally commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Shazia Kakar.
During the session, students were provided with detailed guidance regarding fully funded scholarships, eligibility criteria, admission requirements, scholarship tests, and the application process. Dr. Kamran Kundi from the Department of Education, University of Loralai, delivered a comprehensive briefing on the scholarship program, scholarship tests, and related guidelines.
In the concluding session, Professor Abdul Majeed Nasir delivered the closing remarks and appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders for the successful organization of the program. Furthermore, informational and facilitation desks have been established at Government Girls Degree College Loralai and the Divisional Monitoring Office, Loralai Division, to guide and assist more students in benefiting from this scholarship opportunity.
Special thanks were extended to Engineer Professor Dr. Ehsanullah Kakar, Vice Chancellor, University of Loralai, for his valuable patronage, encouragement, and continuous support in promoting educational opportunities and scholarship awareness among students. Special appreciation was also extended to Mr. Aslam Zeb, Director ORIC, University of Loralai, for his guidance, coordination, and dedicated efforts toward the successful conduct of the awareness session.
We also express our sincere gratitude to Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Chief Minister Balochistan, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Education Minister Balochistan, Laljan Jafar, Secretary Schools, Saleh Baloch, Secretary Colleges, Directorate of Colleges, Government of Balochistan, and the School Education Department, Government of Balochistan for their continuous efforts and support in expanding educational and scholarship opportunities for students across Balochistan.
