The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) is an organization, serves as an apex institution for In-Service training of public schools teachers, educational managers and one stop shop for capacity building needs of school teachers in Punjab, and furthering the National Education Policy by focusing on the professional development of public sector’s teacher and equipping them with modern and innovative teaching techniques and methodologies by providing leadership and strategic planning to the sector. PECTAA is striving to develop a pool of capable teachers in public schools of the province. Capitalizing on a strong institutional base, including 43 District PECTAAs, 143 Tehsil PECTAAs and ADUs for teacher education and training.

A meeting was held to discuss promotion-linked training activities, followed by a training session for the staff of the Punjab Education Curriculum and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) on the rules and regulations of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).

The occasion was graced by the Managing Director of PPRA, Sahibzadi Waseema, an officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who took a session herself, guiding participants through key aspects of procurement rules and compliance requirements. The CEO of PECTAA also participated in the training, joining staff members throughout the proceedings.

MD M&E, PECTAA Visits NSSE Chunian Campus

The Managing Director Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), PECTAA, visited the Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence (NSSE), Chunian Campus, on Day 3 of the Grade 2 to 3 Admission Test – Phase II, held on 2nd September 2026.

The MD appreciated the arrangements and emphasized the importance of ensuring merit & transparency throughout the admission process.

A delegation comprising Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Nausheen Adnan, CEO PECTAA Muhammad Musa Ali Bokhari and Additional Secretary Mr. Hafiz Irfan Hameed visited Seoul, Republic of South Korea, to participate in the 11th International Conference on GCED (IConGCED) and the GCED CDI Technical Consultation Meeting & Networking, hosted at the Korean National Commission for UNESCO and the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) headquarters. Ms. Nausheen Adnan moderated the plenary discussion at the conference.

The delegation also took part in country presentations, where CEO PECTAA represented Punjab, Pakistan in the session.

The visit underscores the growing role and commitment in shaping the global discourse on Citizenship Education.
