PSDA Explores Collaboration with Punjab Universityโs Institute of Quality & Management Training
The Punjab Skills Development Authority (PSDA) hosted a meeting with Prof. Usman Awan from the Institute of Quality & Management Training, University of the Punjab, along with the Secretary, Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department (SD&ED).
The meeting was chaired by Mr Nadir Chattha, the Secretary, SD&ED, while Ms Sarah Rashid, the Director General, PSDA along with the team, briefed the delegation on the *mandate, role, regulatory framework, key initiatives and progress of PSDA over the past one and a half years.
The discussion also covered PSDAโs efforts to strengthen the quality and governance of the TVET sector in Punjab, along with potential areas of collaboration with the Institute of Quality & Management Training, University of the Punjab.
The participants explored opportunities for *capacity building, quality enhancement, institutional strengthening, professional development, research and knowledge sharing, with a shared commitment to contributing towards a stronger, more responsive and industry-aligned skills development ecosystem in Punjab.
