Briefing on Single TVET Dashboard for IWRPP

A detailed briefing on the Project Single TVET Dashboard developed under the Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project (IWRPP) was held at PSDA with Mr. Nadir Chattha, Secretary, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department (SD&ED).

The briefing was attended by Additional Secretary SD&ED Mr. Munawar Malik, DG PSDA Ms. Sarah Rashid, Programme Director IWRPP Ms. Amna Rafique, Head IT SD&ED Dr. Riaz Uddin, and PSDA team.

Project Director OptimusFox, Mr. Rosheel Baig, briefed the participants on the software development, key features and progress achieved so far in developing the dashboard.

The Secretary sab SD&ED held an insightful discussion with the team and appreciated the efforts being made towards developing this digital platform. He emphasized the need to expedite the process, highlighting that the completion and operationalization of the dashboard would be a significant achievement for strengthening project monitoring, data management and informed decision-making.

The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to leveraging digital solutions, data-driven monitoring and technology-enabled governance to improve workforce development in Punjab.

PSDA Explores Collaboration with Punjab University’s Institute of Quality & Management Training

The Punjab Skills Development Authority (PSDA) hosted a meeting with Prof. Usman Awan from the Institute of Quality & Management Training, University of the Punjab, along with the Secretary, Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department (SD&ED).

The meeting was chaired by Mr Nadir Chattha, the Secretary, SD&ED, while Ms Sarah Rashid, the Director General, PSDA along with the team, briefed the delegation on the *mandate, role, regulatory framework, key initiatives and progress of PSDA over the past one and a half years.

The discussion also covered PSDA’s efforts to strengthen the quality and governance of the TVET sector in Punjab, along with potential areas of collaboration with the Institute of Quality & Management Training, University of the Punjab.

The participants explored opportunities for *capacity building, quality enhancement, institutional strengthening, professional development, research and knowledge sharing, with a shared commitment to contributing towards a stronger, more responsive and industry-aligned skills development ecosystem in Punjab.
