Green Business Incubator (GBI) is a business hub to offer expert mentor-ship and training
on legal, financial and technical issues, the lack of which typically knock down new entrepreneurs. Through this business support mechanism, the new and existing entrepreneurs are provided with
an array of targeted resources and services, either through BSP team or its network of contacts. Initially, GBI is e
spousing sustainable practices by establishing and promoting new small
scale business entities in five sectors. For this purpose, a five step mechanism has been adopted.
-Formation of producer groups for sustainable cultivation, harvesting and processing of products
-Technical and material support and facilitation for incorporation of the trained workforce in
standard value chain or “Sheer Elegance”
-Conducting trainings relevant to different levels of the value chain
-Designing and standardization of products based on demand and supply realities
-Identification of marketable products for involvement of the local women and men
