Government Kinnaird High School (KHS) (founded 1864), Empress Road, Lahore started as a co-education but later it was switched to a girls only school. It produc
ed some finest individuals belonging to all walks of life and is making great contribution in the history of education in Pakistan! Although this group has been created for Alumni's only, current students or anyone who is or has been associated with the KHS are very welcome to join with the objective of building a larger KHS community inclusive for everyone linked in whichever capacity. The name AKS (Alumni of Kinnaird High School) was suggested by Miss. The word AKS stands for Urdu translation - reflection. AKS was quite effective sometime back and enjoyed a good number of membership. It also celebrated a reunion of over 200 alumnis in the year 1998 at KHS but then everyone scattered and the group got ineffective. The introduction of this group on Facebook is yet another effort to bring everyone together and share the most loveable and fondest memories of our childhood and youth. This is the only alumni group of KHS on fb with largest membership including school teachers and picture collection. You are warmly welcome to join the group.
