Policy and Strategic Planning Unit, Health Department Punjab Formerly known as Punjab Health Sector Reforms Program, PSPU is the technical support and coordinating body for different initiatives of Health Department.

Policy and Strategic Planning Unit, formerly known as the Punjab Health Sector Reforms Program is the technical support and coordinating body for different initiatives of the Health Department. It provides technical support to the decision-makers to take informed decisions and to implementers for effective implementation. It works as a think tank on design side of the reform package, problem solve

Under the stewardship of Minister Health Dr Yasmin Rashid and on the instructions of Captain (R) Usman - Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, the Office of Policy and Strategic Planning Unit (PSPU) conducted a Training Session on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for visiting BHUs & RHCs, Workplace Ethics, Conflict Resolution and Effective Communication Skills for Monitoring & Evaluation Assistants (MEAs) of Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department from all over Punjab.
Total of 166 MEAs has been trained in this 3 days Training workshop.
