Suggestions for Cancer patients
1-Stop all Sweet foods including sugar, brown sugar (Gurr and shukkar) , bakery items, Desi sweets(Mithaiee) ,Hulwas, Honey,dates( Khajoor no more than 3 a day).
2-No milk . You can use less than 200 grams of unsweetened yogurt or yogurt-drink(lassii) .Better to avoid all milk products.
3-Use only olive oil or Desi ghee , in moderation ,for cooking.
No vegetable oils of any kind.
4- Your diet mostly should be vegetables . Mostly use cooked vegetables.
5- Fruits or fruit bowel (chat) maximum 2-3 fruits per day ( like one apple +one banana+ one pomegranate or two apples and a banana . No Fruit Juice ,fresh or packed.
6-Meats- Very little once or twice a week . Use with vegetables and green salad. Any meat less than 200 grams /week is ok.
7-Drink plenty of water. Minimum 6-8 glasses per day is needed.
8-Eat twice a day like breakfast and early dinner. No food Three hours before bedtime.
9- One 24 hours water-fast /week. No calorie intake for 24 hours. Only drink water,green tea , black tea.
10- walk 30 minutes per day . Walk for 10 minutes after each meal.
11- Light exercise including some weights .
12- Relaxation of mind and soul by any means like prayers,yoga, breathing exercises.
13- Avoid Ci******es, Alcohol,gutka , Paan etc.
