The closing ceremony of the one-week Capacity Building Training Course for Directors of PECTAA was held at the Management & Professional Development Department (MPDD), Government of the Punjab.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Iqbal Hussain, Secretary MPDD; Mr. Mudassar Riaz Malik, Secretary School Education Department; Mr. Mossawer Ahmed Khan Niazi, Additional Secretary MPDD; Mr. Moeen Ahmad Chaudhry, Director Academics PIMPD; and Mr. Musa Bukhari, CEO PECTAA.
The intensive training programme focused on strengthening the professional and managerial capabilities of PECTAA's leadership. Key areas included Artificial Intelligence, Constitutional Structure of Pakistan, Punjab Government Rules of Business, Public Service Ethics, Public Financial Management, and Communication Skills, among other important governance and management subjects.
The initiative reflects MPDD's continued commitment to modernising public-sector capacity, strengthening institutional leadership, and promoting efficient and citizen-focused governance in Punjab.

The closing ceremony of the one-week Capacity Building Training Course for Directors of PECTA was held at the Management & Professional Development Department (MPDD), Government of the Punjab.

Strengthening Educational Leadership through Specialized Executive Training
The first batch of the Specialized Training of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the School Education Department, Government of the Punjab concluded successfully at MPDD after a two-week programme, comprising one week of online learning followed by one week of immersive, in-person training.
The certificate distribution ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mudassir Riaz Malik, Secretary, Education Department, Punjab, alongside Mr. Mossawer Ahmad Khan, Additional Secretary, MPDD, Mr. Mueen Ahmad, Director (Academics), PIMPD, and Mr. Muhammad Musa Ali Bokhari, CEO, Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority
As the Chief Guest, the Secretary School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, distributed completion certificates and held an interactive feedback session with the participants. In his remarks, he commended MPDD for its exceptional knowledge base and expertise, observing that the specialised training had been entrusted to MPDD because of its unmatched capacity in executive learning.
The programme equipped 20 Chief Executive Officers with contemporary leadership, governance, and management competencies. During the feedback session, participants identified the Artificial Intelligence module as the most relevant and impactful component of the training, reflecting MPDD's commitment to equipping education leaders with future-ready skills and supporting the Government of Punjab's digital transformation agenda.
