Honoured to be part of the “Generation Green: Inclusive Youth Leadership for Climate and Clean Air” conference at UET Lahore.
Grateful to Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor UET for the invitation and special thanks to the PM’s Green Youth Movement (GYM) Society, its advisors, oversight committee members and President Bushra Aman Virk for hosting this impactful event.
The panel featured remarkable experts:
Dr. Zafar Iqbal (EPA Punjab), Barrister Maimuna Ranjha (YGA Legal Forum), Arjamand Qayyum (WWF-Pakistan), Dr. Zaeem Bin Babar (Punjab University), Syed Kashf Ahmed (Founder DDL), Dr. Mehwish Anis (IEER, UET), and Dr. Muhammad Ali Falak (UET).
The session concluded with the launch of the UET Cycling Initiative, an excellent step toward promoting sustainable mobility on campus.
Empowering youth for climate action starts with small but meaningful steps and today was a strong example of that.
