Italy-Pakistan Footwear Technological Center IPFTC is equipped with a CAD-CAM Pattern Grading / Cutting and a Mechanical Physical Tests Laboratory for footwear.

All the machinery and technical assistance for this project has been provided by the Italian Government. The Ministry of Economic Development of Italy and Ministry of Commerce and Textile of Pakistan, jointly agreed to cooperate for the Development of the Footwear Industry in Pakistan to ensure that advanced manufacturing technologies take hold in Pakistan and that the state of the art know-how fo

r the production of Footwear products, to be sold domestically and on international markets, may be strengthened in the country by setting up a Footwear Excellence Technology Centre at Lahore
