Lahore has been named the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s Tourism & Cultural Capital for 2026–27 at the 26th meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State in Bishkek

ADB Delegation Visits Lahore Museum
Mr. Yingming Yang, Vice President, Asian Development Bank (ADB), along with Mr. Yong Ye, Deputy Director General, CWRD, Mr. Yang Lu, Senior Advisor to the Vice President, and other members of the ADB delegation, visited Lahore Museum.
The delegation was received by Mr. Socrat Aman Rana, Secretary, Tourism, Archaeology & Museums Department Punjab. The distinguished guests were given a detailed briefing on the rare and culturally significant collections of Lahore Museum, highlighting Punjab’s rich historical and artistic heritage.
The visit concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to the distinguished guests as a token of appreciation and remembrance.
