On the directions of the Worthy Assistant Commissioner, an anti-encroachment drive was conducted by PERA Kot Chutta in collaboration with the Municipal Committee’s anti-encroachment team.
During the operation, shopkeepers on both sides of the road were approached. Some were issued warnings, while others were fined and, where necessary, premises were sealed in accordance with the rules.
The entire team remained on foot, and the drive was carried out from Boys High School up to 33 Mor to ensure thorough enforcement.
Encroachments along the route were removed, and clear instructions were given to all stakeholders to avoid re-establishing illegal structures.
The operation was conducted without discrimination and such actions will continue to ensure lasting compliance.
