📢 Calling all Students & Researchers! 🎓

The KUST Incubation Centre (KIC) presents a 2-Week Advanced Research Training Program — designed for Undergraduate & Graduate Students and R1 Researchers, across all disciplines.

Instructor: Mr. Zeshan Ahmed — Incoming PhD Scholar at SDSU & UC San Diego, USA
Director, Shan Academy

The program has two hands-on phases:

Phase 1 – Understanding Research Methods (For All Disciplines): research design, literature reviews, proposal & paper writing, publication ethics

Phase 2 – Hands-on Training in Density Functional Theory (DFT) & Atomistic Simulations: geometry optimization, material properties, DFT/DFPT methods & simulations

Mode: Hybrid — physical at KIC-KUST for KUST students, online for external & international participants

Timing: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM | Duration: 2 Weeks

Registration Fee:

KUST Students: PKR 700
Outsiders: PKR 2,500
International: USD 15
