5. Khairpur youth council works in the fields of youth policies and youth development. It focuses its work on Education, Health, Sports and culture sectors. In its daily work the council represents the views and opinions of youth organizations in relevant p
olicies areas and promotes, the cross-sectorial nature of policy towards a variety of institutional sectors, the principles of equality and sustainable development are main streamed in the work of youth council. The council is an independent, democrat, youth-led platform, representing youth of Khairpur also works to empower young people to participate actively in society to improve their own lives standard, by representing and advocating their needs and interests.
6. Aims & Objectives. Recognizing the universal declaration of human rights, our religious and family values, our cultural heritage, the young people can be developed positively given the appropriate opportunities, Khairpur youth council aims to :–
• Promote democratic norms in the society.
• Train and nurture leadership ability for governance in youth.
• Promote vocational and professional trainings for career counseling of youth.
• Promote healthy environment among youth by organizing them.
• Promote gender equality by empowering women and cultural activities.
• Equip and aware the youth about education, health, sports, culture and self-help initiatives.
• Collaborate with other volunteer organizations on projects related to work of youth.
• Lend support to relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction task of youth and elsewhere is required.
• Disseminate information and cooperation with other agencies whenever possible about the programs and activities of the council.
• Inculcate democrat values and spirit of self-reliance for fight against all social evils of the society.
• Develop character and strengthen moral fiber in the youth.
• Aware youth about responsibilities of public representatives and government institutions
