Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has called for a nationwide strike on Thursday, September 3, urging citizens and traders to join the protest.

He says the strike will target rising inflation, what he describes as illegal levies and taxes, the PIMS Hospital tragedy, elite privileges, and the growing financial burden on ordinary Pakistanis.
