لاڑکانہ (پریس ریلیز)
یکم مئی (عالمی یومِ مزدور) کے موقع پر پاکستان ٹریڈ یونین فیڈریشن شکاگو کے شہداء سمیت دنیا بھر کے مزدوروں کو سرخ سلام پیش کرتی ہے۔
مزدوروں کی جدوجہد اور ثابت قدمی نے سماج کی ترقی اور خوشحالی میں اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے۔ یہ دن محنت کش طبقے کی اس تاریخی جدوجہد کی یاد دلاتا ہے جو ہے مارکیٹ واقعہ کی صورت میں سامنے آئی اور جس نے مزدوروں کے حقوق کے لیے ایک عالمی تحریک کو جنم دیا۔
پاکستان ٹریڈ یونین فیڈریشن سندھ اور عوامی ورکرز پارٹی کی جانب سے لاڑکانہ میں ایک جلسہ منعقد کیا گیا۔ جلسے سے خطاب کرنے والوں میں شامل تھے:

مقررین نے کہا کہ آج بھی پاکستان سمیت پوری دنیا کے محنت کش شدید مسائل کا شکار ہیں۔ بڑھتی ہوئی مہنگائی، بے روزگاری، ٹھیکیداری نظام اور مزدوروں کے حقوق کی پامالی نے ان کی زندگی کو مشکل بنا دیا ہے، جبکہ دولت کا ارتکاز چند ہاتھوں تک محدود ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔
رہنماؤں نے صنعتی مزدوروں، زرعی محنت کشوں، گھریلو ملازمین اور ہر شعبے سے وابستہ مزدوروں کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا اور ان کے حقوق کے حصول کے لیے جدوجہد جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پی ٹی یو ایف ضلع لاڑکانہ کی کال پر مختلف مزدور یونینز کے ساتھ مل کر یکم مئی کو ایک بڑی ریلی اور جلسہ عام منعقد کیا گیا، جس کا مقصد مزدوروں کے حقوق کے لیے آواز بلند کرنا، ان کے مسائل کو اجاگر کرنا اور مزدور اتحاد کو مضبوط بنانا ہے۔
فیڈریشن تمام محنت کشوں، طلبہ، کسانوں اور انصاف پسند شہریوں سے اپیل کرتی ہے کہ وہ اس ریلی اور جلسے میں بھرپور شرکت کریں اور مزدور تحریک کو مزید مضبوط بنائیں۔
فیڈریشن حکومت سے مطالبہ کرتی ہے کہ:
لیبر قوانین اور کم از کم اجرت پر مکمل عمل درآمد یقینی بنایا جائے
استحصالی ٹھیکیداری اور غیر رسمی مزدوری نظام کا خاتمہ کیا جائے
یونین سازی اور اجتماعی سودے بازی کے حق کو یقینی بنایا جائے
محنت کشوں کے لیے سوشل سیکیورٹی، صحت اور پنشن کی سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں
مہنگائی پر قابو پا کر مزدوروں کے معاشی تحفظ کو یقینی بنایا جائے
آخر میں مقررین نے کہا کہ محنت کش اپنے حقوق کے لیے متحد ہوں، منظم ہوں اور اپنی اجتماعی طاقت کو مضبوط بنائیں، کیونکہ پائیدار تبدیلی صرف جدوجہد اور اتحاد سے ہی ممکن ہے۔
یکم مئی عزم اور جدوجہد کا دن ہے۔ آئیے مل کر ایک ایسا منصفانہ اور مساوی معاشرہ قائم کریں جہاں محنت کشوں کی
عزت اور حقوق کو مکمل تحفظ حاصل ہو۔

Larkana – 5 April 2026

On the call of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation (PTUF), under the leadership of Central Senior Vice President Waheed Khan Abbasi, a protest was held in Larkana against the recent increase in petrol prices and rising inflation. The demonstration intensified as citizens and labor representatives expressed serious concern over the growing economic burden.

The protest was organized with the participation of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation, which took part in a relay protest.
On this occasion, Javed Buledi, President of the Bar Association, addressed the gathering. Among other notable participants were Waleed Khan Abbasi, son of Moazam Khan Abbasi, and Waheed Abbasi, Central Senior Vice President of PTUF.
Other prominent representatives included Mukhtiyar Kalhoro, Abdul Razak Birohi, Gul Sher Jagirani, Nawab Chandio, and Mihal Ansari.

A large number of lawyers, civil society members, and residents of Larkana also participated in the protest, expressing solidarity against inflation and demanding relief from the government.
The speakers urged the authorities to take immediate steps to control price hikes and provide economic relief to the public.

آج پاکستان ٹریڈ یونین فیڈریشن کے مرکزی جنرل سیکریٹری جناب عبدالغنی کلہوڑو اور پی ٹی یو ایف سکھر ڈویژن کے صدر جناب مزمل اویس نے کوآرڈینیٹر وزیر محنت جناب محمد خان ابڑو سے ملاقات کی اور عید کی مبارکباد پیش کی۔

ملاقات کے دوران لاڑکانہ لیبر کالونی اور سکھر لیبر اسکوائر سے متعلق امور پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔ اس موقع پر ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر اسٹیٹ جناب زاہد حسین ہاکرو بھی موجود تھے۔

جناب عبدالغنی کلہوڑو نے کہا کہ لاڑکانہ لیبر کالونی میں قائم تجاوزات کو فوری طور پر ختم کیا جائے اور قانونی طریقے سے مزدوروں کو الاٹمنٹ کی جائے۔

اس پر جناب محمد خان ابڑو نے ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر اسٹیٹ زاہد حسین ہاکرو کو ہدایات جاری کیں کہ وہ فوری طور پر تجاوزات کا خاتمہ کروائیں اور متعلقہ فائل کو آگے بڑھائیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہماری اولین ترجیح مزدوروں کی فلاح و بہبود ہے۔

مزید برآں، محمد خان ابڑو نے عبدالغنی کلہوڑو کو ہدایت دی کہ وہ اس سلسلے میں سیکریٹری جناب سعید صالح جمانی سے بھی ملاقات کریں۔

اسی موقع پر جناب مزمل اویس نے سکھر لیبر کالونی کے مسائل بھی پیش کیے اور درخواست کی کہ باقی ماندہ فلیٹس مزدوروں کو الاٹ کیے جائیں۔ جس پر محمد خان ابڑو نے یقین دہانی کرائی کہ حکومت مزدوروں کے حقوق اور فلاح کے لیے مکمل طور پر پُرعزم ہے

مزدور رہنماؤں کا ہنگامی اجلاس، ورکرز ویلفیئر بورڈ کی گورننگ باڈی کو مسترد کر دیا گیا
آج پاکستان ٹریڈ یونین فیڈریشن کا ایک اہم اجلاس خاموش کالونی آفس میں مرکزی جنرل سیکریٹری عبدالغنی کلہوڑو کی صدارت میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں مختلف مزدور تنظیموں کے سینئر رہنماؤں اور نمائندگان نے شرکت کی۔
اجلاس میں سپریم کورٹ کے سینئر ایڈووکیٹ جمیل احمد، عوامی مرکز پارٹی کے نمائندگان، اور نیشنل لیبر فیڈریشن کے عہدیداران بشمول ارشاد بھٹو (سینئر مزدور رہنما)، خواجہ مبشر اور اسرار احمد سواتی بھی شریک ہوئے۔ سناؤلہ ٹیکسٹائل کمپنی کے سی بی اے چیئرمین نیک زادہ سواتی بھی اجلاس میں موجود تھے۔
پاکستان ٹریڈ یونین فیڈریشن کی مرکزی قیادت میں صدر احمد زیب، سینئر جوائنٹ سیکریٹری راحیل خان، جوائنٹ سیکریٹری عبدالروف، اور نائب صدر محمد اسلم نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔ جناب جان ولی شاہ (پریس سیکریٹری) اور انجینئر سلیم بھی موجود تھے۔
اجلاس میں ہائی کورٹ آف سندھ میں دائر آئینی درخواست پر تفصیلی غور کیا گیا، جس میں ورکرز ویلفیئر بورڈ سندھ کے گورننگ باڈی (جی بی) ممبران کو چیلنج کیا گیا ہے۔ کیس کی اگلی سماعت 19 فروری 2026 کو مقرر ہے اور اس حوالے سے قانونی حکمت عملی کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔
اجلاس میں متفقہ طور پر فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ ورکرز ویلفیئر بورڈ کی موجودہ گورننگ باڈی کو کسی بھی صورت تسلیم نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ اجلاس میں شدید تحفظات کا اظہار کیا گیا کہ گورننگ باڈی کی تشکیل اور اس کے فیصلے قانون، آئین اور ورکر ویلفیئر کے بنیادی اصولوں کے منافی ہیں، جبکہ مزدور نمائندگی کو مکمل طور پر نظرانداز کیا گیا ہے۔
مزدور رہنماؤں کے واضح مطالبات:
غیر قانونی گورننگ باڈی کو فوری تحلیل کیا جائے۔
شفاف اور قانونی گورننگ باڈی، جس میں مزدور نمائندگان شامل ہوں، تشکیل دی جائے۔
ورکرز کو تمام ورکر ویلفیئر کے معاملات میں اعتماد میں لیا جائے۔
اجلاس میں یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ سیسّی (Sindh Employees Social Security Institution) کی گورننگ باڈی کو چیلنج کرنے کی منصوبہ بندی بھی جاری ہے۔
مزید برآں، اجلاس میں ورکرز ویلفیئر بورڈ سندھ کے سابق سیکریٹری کے خلاف مبینہ میگا کرپشن کے حوالے سے دائر آئینی درخواست پر بھی تفصیلی بات چیت کی گئی اور کیس کے قانونی اور حکمت عملی کے پہلوؤں کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔
یہ بھی اعلان کیا گیا کہ ورکرز ویلفیئر بورڈ کی گورننگ باڈی کے خلاف ہائی کورٹ میں آئینی درخواست دائر کی گئی ہے اور قانونی جدوجہد آخری حد تک جاری رکھی جائے گی۔
باقاعدہ پریس ریلیز جاری کی گئی ہے تاکہ عوام، میڈیا اور متعلقہ اداروں کو آگاہ کیا جا سکے۔ مزدور رہنماؤں نے تمام مزدور تنظیموں اور باشعور شہریوں سے اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ اس جدوجہد میں ہمارا ساتھ دیں اور مزدوروں کے حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے متحد ہوں۔ ان شاء اللہ، حق کی فتح ہوگی۔

Muzamil Hussain Awais, President of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation, visited Sukkur Labour Colony, where he personally supervised sanitation activities and addressed the ownership and welfare issues of the workers.

Due to his continuous efforts, garbage dumping points were eliminated, and large-scale cleaning operations were carried out. With the help of tractors, accumulated waste was removed from the colony, significantly improving the overall condition of the area.

These actions were taken on the instructions of the Honorable Officers and the General Secretary of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation, Abdul Ghani Kalhoro, reflecting the federation’s strong commitment to workers’ welfare and a clean living environment.

Sukkur, 11 November 2025.

Mr. Saeed Suleh Jumani, Secretary of the Workers Welfare Board Sindh, paid an official visit to the Labour Colony Sukkur and the Workers Model School Sukkur today. On this occasion, Mr. Muzamil Awais Qazi President of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation (PTUF), Sukkur Division, also accompanied the Secretary.

During the visit, Mr. Saeed Suleh Jumani listened to the concerns and issues raised by workers and labour leaders. Among them was

Mr. Rahib Samejo, General Secretary of the Mehran Labour Federation, who has also filed a constitutional petition (CP) in the Sukkur Court. He, along with
Mr. Muzamil Hussain, President of PTUF Sukkur Division, emphasized that workers’ rights would be protected at all costs.

They referred to the court’s ongoing inquiry regarding 581 cases in the Sukkur Labour Colony, which has been assigned to the Deputy Commissioner. Both leaders expressed hope that the inquiry would be conducted transparently and that any illegal allotments would be cancelled. They further demanded that 443 pending units be allotted to the original industrial workers.

Responding to their concerns, Secretary Mr. Saeed Suleh Jumani assured them that the Workers Welfare Board would fully comply with the court’s orders and ensure justice.

Later, the Zonal Office staff informed the Secretary that, as per the Director Welfare’s instructions, a meeting regarding welfare schemes would be held within 15 days. However,

Mr. Muzamil Hussain objected, stating that the court order clearly mentioned that no scheme could be executed directly through the Welfare Board’s employees, but only through third-party arrangements as directed by the court. He stressed that any violation would amount to contempt of court.

Secretary responded that if the court order indeed specifies such a condition, it will be implemented accordingly. He also mentioned that some staff changes have already been made within the Zonal Office Sukkur and that further improvements are expected soon.

During the visit, Mr. Saeed Suleh Jumani inspected the ongoing renovation and construction work at the Workers Model School Sukkur, emphasizing the need for maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely completion for the benefit of workers’ children.

Additionally, he met with residents of the Labour Colony, heard their grievances, and assured them that all genuine issues would be addressed promptly.

Mr. Saeed Saleh Jamani, Secretary, Workers Welfare Board Sindh, visited the Labour Colony and Workers Middle School, Larkana.

He was accompanied by:

Mr. Ahmed Zaib, President, PTUF

Mr. Waheed Abbasi, Senior Vice President, PTUF

Mr. Shareef Khan, Finance Secretary, PTUF

During the visit, the Secretary inspected the ongoing renovation and construction work and expressed satisfaction with the progress.
However, Mr. Abdul Ghani Kalhoro raised an objection, emphasizing that the drainage work should be completed first.

In response, the Secretary directed the Deputy Director (Works) to prioritize the drainage system before continuing with other construction activities.

Workers present at the site also highlighted several issues, including electricity problems and renovation concerns. Mr. Abdul Ghani Kalhoro requested the Secretary to resolve these matters promptly and assured the workers that he would continue to be their voice.

Mr. Abdul Ghani Kalhoro further stated that the drainage work and school construction should be treated as top priorities and completed as soon as possible. The Secretary assured him that the work would be carried out soon.

The office-bearers of the Pakistan Trade Union Federation also urged that the construction work be initiated without delay. The Secretary reaffirmed that the work would begin shortly.
