The Security Division solemnly observed Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police to honor the courageous police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty. The day featured a series of tributes and commemorative events to recognize the sacrifices made by these brave individuals.

As part of the observance, DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed led wreath-laying ceremonies at SSU Headquarters, Madadgar-15, Security-II, and Court Police. At each site, he laid floral wreaths, offered Fateha, and paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs on behalf of the entire Security Division.

Commandant SSU Aamir Khan Niazi and SP Madadgar-15 Hafeez ur Rehman were also present on the occasion.

Following the ceremonies, a special meeting was held with the families of Shuhada of the Security Division at the Conference Hall, SSU. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed personally met with the families, expressed his gratitude for the sacrifices of their loved ones, and assured them of the department’s continued support and solidarity.

In his address, DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed stated, “Our martyrs are the foundation of the peace we enjoy today. Their courage, dedication, and unwavering resolve are a source of inspiration for all of us. It is our collective responsibility to ensure their sacrifices are remembered and honored in both word and action.”

He also emphasized the role of police personnel in maintaining law and order, noting that the legacy of the martyrs strengthens the resolve of the force to serve the nation with integrity and commitment.

BRIGADIER NAVEED PAYS TRIBUTE TO POLICE MARTYRS AT SSU MARTYRS MEMORIAL ON BEHALF OF COAS & CDF

On the occasion of Police Martyrs Day, Brigadier Naveed of the Pakistan Army visited the Special Security Unit (SSU) Headquarters and laid a floral wreath at the SSU Martyrs Memorial on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

The visit was aimed at paying tribute to the brave police officers and personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty for the protection of citizens, maintenance of peace, and upholding of the rule of law.

DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed and Commandant SSU Aamir Khan Niazi accompanied Brigadier Naveed in paying tribute to the martyrs.

On the occasion, the sacrifices of police martyrs were acknowledged with profound respect and honour. The visit reaffirmed the enduring bond of solidarity and mutual respect between the Pakistan Army and Sindh Police, particularly their shared commitment to safeguarding the nation and its people.

سیکیورٹی ڈویژن کا یومِ شہدائے پولیس پر شہداء کو خراجِ عقیدت

سیکیورٹی ڈویژن نے یومِ شہدائے پولیس نہایت عقیدت و احترام کے ساتھ منایا تاکہ ان بہادر پولیس اہلکاروں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا جا سکے جنہوں نے اپنے فرائض کی انجام دہی کے دوران جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔ اس موقع پر مختلف تقریبات کا انعقاد کیا گیا جن کا مقصد ان عظیم قربانیوں کو یاد رکھنا تھا۔

اس سلسلے میں ڈی آئی جی سیکیورٹی اینڈ ایمرجنسی سروسز ڈویژن ڈاکٹر مقصود احمد نے ایس ایس یو ہیڈکوارٹرز، مددگار-15، سیکیورٹی-II اور کورٹ پولیس میں شہداء کی یادگاروں پر پھول چڑھائے، فاتحہ خوانی کی، اور سیکیورٹی ڈویژن کی جانب سے ان شہداء کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا۔

کمانڈنٹ ایس ایس یو عامر خان نیازی اور ایس پی مددگار-15 حفیظ الرحمٰن بھی اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔

بعد ازاں ایس ایس یو کے کانفرنس ہال میں سیکیورٹی ڈویژن کے شہداء کے اہلِ خانہ سے ایک خصوصی ملاقات کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ ڈاکٹر مقصود احمد نے اہلِ خانہ سے فرداً فرداً ملاقات کی، ان کے پیاروں کی قربانیوں کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا، اور انہیں ادارے کی جانب سے مکمل تعاون اور یکجہتی کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔

ڈی آئی جی ڈاکٹر مقصود احمد نے مزید کہا کہ ''ہمارے شہداء وہ بنیاد ہیں جن پر آج کا امن قائم ہے۔ ان کی جرات، قربانی اور غیر متزلزل عزم ہم سب کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہیں۔ یہ ہماری اجتماعی ذمہ داری ہے کہ ہم ان کی قربانیوں کو یاد رکھیں اور انہیں الفاظ و عمل دونوں سے خراجِ تحسین پیش کریں۔''

انہوں نے پولیس فورس کے قانون نافذ کرنے کے کردار کو بھی اجاگر کیا اور کہا کہ شہداء کی میراث ہماری فورس کے حوصلے اور فرض شناسی کو مزید مضبوط کرتی ہے۔
