Mubarak Village Karachi

Mubarak Village Karachi Mubarak village is 30 km away from Karachi city with a population of more than 10,000 people. The most of the people in this village are Baloch.

There are seven major Baloch tribes including Muhammad Hasni, Sanghur, Sajdi, Kalmati (Hoth), Bizenjo, Shaei Madhi and Kurd. These neglected fishermen, whose forefathers had been living here for nearly 200 years, lack all basic amenities. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah had promised in 2009 to develop the village on modern lines. Construction work was started but later it stopped. Almost 50pc d

evelopment has been completed but, despite the availability of funds, work has been stopped for reasons better known to the government. Only 10pc residents have been issued lease documents. The expansion of Mubarak village dam and construction of a harbour have also not been launched. Fishermen demand the government to resume construction work on the incomplete projects.
